I just ran into the lead singer by complete accident on the street this morning. I was shocked to see him given the circumstances. He was very nice and said “hey what’s up man?” After I awkwardly and I mean awkwardly said “dude, from gatecreeper” and I kinda zoned out because I was at work. I didn’t want him to think I was as stalking him and I certainly didn’t want to bother him. I was no prepared to see him this morning lol.

He was incredibly friendly and appeared as if he’d be down to talk and answer questions. Probably would’ve hung out for a few min. That’s the vibe he gave off. But I was so shell shocked and in disbelief by the sudden appearance of him standing right in front of me and being super cool. But I wanted to respect his privacy and let him move on with his day.

What is also awesomely refreshing about this video is the use of practical VFX and a carefully crafted physical set. These days in metal vids, it's typically either a bare-bone gig/rehearsal setting or a green screen and (mostly lazy) CGI. Kudos to the Director and the whole crew! Thank you all for your masterful work. We need more vids like "The Black Curtain"!

First time I saw Gatecreeper was on the hate5six videos... I saw the lead singer with the mustache and he was pranking like it was his first show... I was like who is this hipster?! He shut me up when they let it rip. This track might be a little more straight forward rock styles compared to what I really like from these guys, but it's a solid track and this band is legit. Love the behind the scenes vids I've stumbled onto also. KEEP CREEPINGS, YOU FREAKS.
