A rule where the players are unaware of infractions until rounds end will never stand....and it shouldnt. If there are officials timing players, the players MUST be informed of infractions immediately following the throw of the penalty, as to say before that players next throw. No other method of notification is fair, as the strategy of throw by throw competition throughout the entire field is now attainable with Udisc. Just my opinion, but I can't see it working any other way.

I don't want it to get to the same as golf where someone who's watching the event calls a foul; however, I do think that the main idea of his point is valid. If they could have judges with each group giving warnings as things happened, it would make it easier on the players. Calling foot faults, time, and courtesy violations generally end up with really off vibe for the rest of the group on the card. If it's someone impartial that could do it during the round as opposed to after the round is over, then I think it'd be a move in the right direction. (At least for these pro events. I don't think my local 80 people tournaments need this yet.)

It is violating rules. It's just like Nikko saying how it is necessary to call foot faults (since the rules puts that weight on the card mates for some reason) it is also necessary to bring attention to taking nearly a minute on putts. I don’t get why so many people think Nate was ATTACKING Nikko, Nikko is known for taking forever on his putts which is a burden to the rest of his card and the field, that’s why the rule is in place. As nice as it is to have these videos focus on the individual matchups, I think for the sake of repetitiveness, it’d be better to show the entire card in each video. Maybe do separate graphics to help the viewer keep the matchups separate. I only say this because after watching like 8 videos just to see the entire first round, I’m already feeling a little burned out with this event haha. Im not taking sides either way, and yes, rules are rules, but lets say Nikko takes 30 extra seconds literally every putt for 18 holes. Thats 9 minutes. 10-11 if he misses a few. I refuse to believe 10 minutes will be that big of an inconvenience, and if so, maybe drop your tournament and go do alleged important thing.... Also lets remember courtesy violations are the cards call. Rules are either followed or they are broken until enforced or flat out changed. Ive been on cards where dudes take a long time, and sure I wasnt thrilled about it, but ultimately I just was excited to take my shot or putt. Its an ego thing. If anything you should understand that more time to think is usually more time to psyche yourself out. Let the guy psyche himself out. Have you ever played with someone who took 20-30 extra seconds every putt and whooped you? I sure havent... This really needs to never be mentioned again.

"lets say Nikko takes 30 extra seconds literally every putt for 18 holes. Thats 9 minutes. 10-11 if he misses a few. I refuse to believe 10 minutes will be that big of an inconvenience" ... And if everyone starts to follow "Nikko-time" for their own putting then you will be looking at rounds that will take 1-2 hours longer as cards back up at each and every hole. The rule is 30 seconds. Most players are much faster than that. If Nikko can't follow the rules perhaps he should drop of tournaments, go home and practice his putting routine until he can follow the rules. Nikko can be a stickler about others following the rules (ie, foot faults ...) but he feels that the rules for putting don't apply to him?!? It's no wonder that so many people have little respect for him.
