@adrianramirez80842 ай бұрын
I struggled with the mental game for years playing tennis. Now with disc golf it's so managble compared to some of my non athelete freinds. Sadly all you can do if your struggling is get those reps in.

Man I just missed you at the MPO final. You had walked passed the car I was hanging out in waiting, and I wasn't able to catch up before you had your camera set up at the tee pad. Hope to meet you sometime next year and get a signature. It was awesome to see you at the event regardless.

I think +16 was just the blind round score. After a few more practice rounds I bet you would’ve scored closer to your rating. You should definitely try again next year. Maybe get in a practice round with a touring pro 💪🏽 much love

You should play the woods at trinity DGC in McKinney and try to ace the water hole of doom 😳
@kevinkevinholt2 ай бұрын
Hard to say since you're obviously shooting in the woods where you're more concerned with aim than power, but the forehand could use a lot more hip rotation. Your right hip is finishing about even with your left (or even behind it like on 15's tee shot); make sure your left leg is solid so it pushes your left hip back when you brace (you can and should still bend your knee a bit just make sure your power isn't absorbing into the knee bend instead). Just some unsolicited advice (I can't throw 300' forehands).
@casinichoАй бұрын
Just finding your channel, and your content is pretty entertaining (in a good way). Not that you've asked, but such a round on such a course is probably okay for your first time playing it. Why don't u empty your bag at the holes though and see which discs really work best for the shot?

Try playing some tennis. Im a d 3 college tennis player who has only been playing discgolf for 3 months and I went +3 on maple hill fpo (about 950). Wrist pronation in disc golf is very important to get the desired spin. It took me a few weeks to realize that. I would practice throwing while isolating your wrist (try to not use your arm) I know it sounds silly but sometime doing uncomforatble things will pay off in the long run

Duuuude I sometimes do the toe rotation too and I can't figure out why I sometimes do it and not others. Edit: Whoa I also have wrist rotation issues! I feel like I'm releasing with my elbow down and palm to the sky. You throw way farther than me though 😉
