Such incredible realistic action! Thanks for putting in my faves: 5cm flak, Sturmtiger, any German recon with autocannon, truck mounted 75mm anti-tank guns (swoon). That Russian metal beast turned out to be the Soviet 203mm 1931B4. Keep yer head down watching this one.

I have a few more ideas for battles that I think people would love to see plus these involved factions you don't see very often. Poland- Battle of the Bzura Largest counterattack by the Polish during the invasion that saw initial success, considered the bloodiest battle of the Polish campaign. Siege of Warsaw- Not as one-sided as people might think, despite the massive damage caused by the constant bomings, the Polish AA units inflicted heavy losses on the Luftwaffe. The first several ground assults by the Germans were repulsed by the Polish defenders inflicting heavy losses using their 75 mm anti-tank guns to knock out around 80-100 German tanks. The city's brave defenders overall managed to hold out for 20 days. Belgium- Battle of the Albert Canal including the battle of Fort Eben-Emael. Despite lasting just 18 days, the Belgians put up a serious fight, official German history has made mention of how well the Belgians fought. Netherlands- attack on The Hague a German airborne attack on the city and airfields that believe it or not ended in failure, many of the transport aircraft was destroyed by the Dutch with the German paratroopers suffering high casualties. Eventually several Dutch counterattacks managed to stop the German attack ending in a significant Dutch victory. France- Battle of Sedan Battle of Dunkirk Battle of Hannut, (the largest tank battle fought during the French campaign) Italy- Battle of Monte Cassino Battle of Anzio Battle of Sicily Greece- Battle of Pindus, major Greek counter-offensive that drove the Italians back into Albania, (the first successful allied counter-offensive of the war)

Ah the battle of Königsberg, one of the final battles of the "East Prussian offensive" which began early January 1945 and lasted 3 months, the actual battle within the city lasted 4-5 days. Considered at the time to be one of the most modernized and fortified cities in the world, it was defended by 125-130k troops (roughly 5 divisions worth) against 135-140k Russian troops. Though the fighting within the city itself lasted 4 days, the siege itself lasted at least a month (give or take). the Russians "claimed" they suffered less then 4k casualties while claiming the German casualties were 50k or so (in truth it was more like 32-35k). I honestly wouldn't trust these estimates "at face value", because they're almost entirely based on Soviet claims, the East Prussian offensive overall (including the siege of the city itself) puts the Russian casualties to roughly 50k more. 1:24 what AFV is this, im going to take a few guesses here so correct me if im wrong. It's definitely a half track variant like the Sd.Kfz 10 with a heavy anti-tank gun (most likely a Pak 38) "mount". The Sd.Kfz 10 which was initially used to tow heavy anti-tank guns, had to undergo extensive modifications to be able to do this, such as additional armor plating, and while this gave the vehicle some anti-tank capability it had noticeable drawbacks as well, the vehicle was really too small for such a powerful gun, which put strain on the chassis, rotating the gun to fire was very limited because of the gun shield that was installed, and despite the additional armor it offered very little protection to the crew. One more thing, if you listen to the distinctive "hollowed" sound the gun makes when firing, its because of the muzzle break of the Pak 38

Man... Even just a video game graphics representation makes me feel pity for everybody involved in that fighting (and WW2 in general)... Konigsburg was my mom's hometown before she fled to Berlin, she would have only been about 7 or 8 around the time of this battle (if she was still present, her Mom and her probably fled before this). Her Dad died 4 years earlier or so, in the first week of the Barbarossa... What a waste...

Wow! So the us army (ww2 vintage) took on the nazi's (in western europe) with just a medium tank (M-4, Sherman), versus the Eastern front, in which the nazi's and soviets were using heavy tanks (T-34-85 against Pzkw VII Panther, etc.)

Battlefield scenes are Intense which is exactly what happened in the final months of the war in the East. One comment for the future: to build a better sense of continuity try picking one element such as a pair of T34s and follow them for a full unbroken 3 minutes. No cuts or stoppages in the video. The scenes are realistic but far too brief! Stop jumping from scene to scene! Too many cuts show a lack of attention span.

I play the battle 10 - 15 times moving the camera many times. That gives me tons of short clips. I then have to put them altogether into 1 movie file. It takes a ton of editing.! Then i adjust the look of the video add transitions, zooms, sound effects.!!!
