If SP= CP+Profit i.e 100% of CP + Profit %, Let CP=100 and Profit%= 30%, this will be SP=130% of CP , which can be simplified as SP=1.3* CP which gives same result.

If cost price is suppose P and selling price is Rs 78 which is 30% of C.P added to it then by equation 60(1+(30/100))=78=> 60(1.3)=78=>60=78/1.3 which is shown in the video, S.P./C.P. =1.3
