Gateway Drum Smoker - Unboxing & Assembly

In this video I do an unboxing and review of the Gateway Drum Smoker Straight Up 55G - Matte Charcoal! This officially marks my 20th grill and my first ever Gateway Drum Smoker! There isn't a whole lot of assembly when it comes to the Gateway Drum Smoker but there is a little bit so give this video a watch!
As mentioned in the video I absolutely love cooking on drums and adding this Gateway Drum Smoker to my lineup will be a great addition. I've been watching your vids for a while and just saw on IG you are in Jackson. I've lived in KC for 20 years but grew up in Heron Lake and went to high school in Lakefield. I love drum smokers too. I get that the Gateway quality is better than a homemade UDS, but isn’t it fun to cook on one that you made yourself?

They’re both a ton of fun to cook with, I’ve just been in to my gateway as of late. I also dropped the lid of the UDS I made so got to unwarp that lol.

Hey Nate! I love them both! Gateway has a slight edge right now but both function similar. You’re aren’t the first to ask me that so maybe a Gateway vs Bronco Pro video is in order.
