This game... Is beyond value to me... This game embodies the feeling I get when I look back upon my childhood... Lonely, quiet, beautiful, serene perfection... If there was a game I was forced to play forever... This would be it... (Edit: So... Bad news. My opinion has changed. But this game still holds a strong place in my heart. But I certainly wouldn't make it the one game I was forced to play forever.)

I got Mario Kart with the Wii console for Christmas in 2006 or 2007. I saw where to unlock Rosalina (which I thought was one of the coolest characters in the game) you had to create a save file on SMG. I rented it from Blockbuster which was still a thing at the time and the rest is history. Hands down one of-if not-the best games for any console in history

Aww, thanks for sharing! ^^ I getcha! I think for me it was the other way around, I got SMG and Indiana Jones: The Staff of Moses when I got my Wii for Christmas, I believe, and rented Mario Kart Wii from Xtravision at some point, where I either was surprised to see that I unlocked Rosalina due to having SMG save data on my Wii, OR I found that out through a video showing off all the characters in the game XD I think it was probably the first, though, and then I probably later found out through the video that that's how I unlocked her! Aww ;w;

@@elfilinamie1326 your Wii is very generous for making sure you don't have to play the incredibly unfun mirror mode grand prix
@jacobvanantwerp2001 Жыл бұрын
Well, you can still get Rosalina even without a SMG save file, but it will take longer. If you have a SMG save file, play 50 Grand Prix games and you'll unlock her much quicker.

It really was beautiful wasn't it. I remember when I got this game. My brother was on a sleepover and, as we're quite close, I was lonely. My Dad gave me this game, which he bought earlier that day. I played through the game and loved every bit. Of course my bro had to vomit and come back. Pleased, but I really enjoyed the game and now he got to watch. This was my first Mario game.

when i was really young, i used to play this game on my wii while my parents would fight in the other room or even in the room i was playing the game in before they divorced. it would make me really upset and for a long time i would only play the game when i was sad or had nothing else to do or anyone to turn to. a few years ago i have came back to it as a large source of comfort. games really can change a person, and now my negative memories have turned into happy ones. this was my first mario platformer. it has a sense of magic that really you can't feel or sense unless you played it back on the wii.

When I was 8 and this game came out my Grandma went to Badcocks...back when they were popular...and stood in line for hours just to get me a wii and this game...she recently passed away and those to things she got me were all I had left to remember her by...and one day me & my mom got into an arguenent and she she took a hammer to the wii console and threw Super Mario Galaxy into the fire...I left after that and never went back and I never will...I don't know if I can forgive her...those two items held vadt sentimental value for me...and in a few moments and were gone and all I had left of my grandma went with them

Life is tough right now. My parents are close to divorcing, I’m in my freshman year of highschool, I have friends online who i love and worry about 24/7, everything. It’s all such a pain to deal with. But… This song… It brings me peace. I’ve been really struggling with my mental health recently, and I’ve just sat in my room as a little ball of depression every day after school, rarely coming out of my room. I spend almost all that time in my room watching KZbin or talking to my online friends. I listen to this song, and I can’t help but cry. I just break down. This game was my childhood and I love it so much, and I’m gonna cherish it forever. Super Mario as a whole has meant so much to my life. It comforts me when nobody else can. When I don’t have anyone else, I have Mario. So, Thank you Shigeru Miyamoto. Thank you for changing my life and inspiring so many others to be great. Thank you for creating something I and so many others hold so dear to them. I love you all, and I hope you have an amazing rest of your day. Thank you for reading.

I love this game so much, and this is by far my favourite song, it just sounds like my childhood. How lucky I was to play this game when I was little with my brother by my side, we always had this rule that if the other died the other one has to play then, it was so funny to play this game and I'm so grateful to remember all the good memories. I truly love this game, it means so much to me, listening to this song just bring me peace and nostalgia. I just wanted to express what this game means to me, but honestly all my feelings can't be express just in a comment of a youtube video, and I have struggles to write in english, but at least I wanted to say what I can, I love this game and I will love it for ever.
