Stargate Atlantis is the best Stargate in the franchise and David Hewitt as Dr. McKay is the best character in any Stargate series. Bringing his actual sister in to play his sister in the show was brilliant. Their sibling banter was epic and unforgettable.

Golden guests here David! It is a shame there is not more of these 2 working together. I think it is fun for real siblings in the business to be on screen siblings. Obviously it worked for SGA. And Kate, if you are reading this, you did an amazing job. And David, you have always been a favorite of mine in the franchise. A lot of character for you to manage with McKay.

I’ve been re-watching Atlantis for the 43rd time and I just to the episode today, I literally watched it an hour before this video went out. (McKay and Mrs. Miller) Season 3 Episode 8.

This a funny interview, these two are hillarious together, I loved the episodes with the 2 of them. The sibling torment that they portray is perfect and it added so much to the McKay character! I raise my hat to these great actors!😃🤣

One, maybe two minutes in and the Sibling of these two is just so obviously apparent. No matter how good David is as an actor, he never would have had that brilliant spark that is so plain between these two with another actor playing his sibling. That natural instinct and playfulness comes through in the role so well any time Jeannie was on screen. So they definitely made the right choices here.

Is there a way to calculate the cost per episode and per season to make a revival of either Atlantis or Universe set today on either or both the Atlantis and Destiny sets? Once we know the cost, we can hold fundrasiers and investors for it and go independent? Before we know the cost, we need the script. Work on it with Brad Wright and Robert Cooper and super fans, so the writing portion is inexpensive but more importantly handled right and proper, as well as inside knowledge, which will help in assessing budget requirements. Atlantis perhaps has to return to Pegasus and so take the old crew with the experience and knowledge, as the deparment heads and team heads, this time with more means. Universe, Eli fixed the pod, but even with the pods and hyperspace, they have all aged significantly, and whats more, they now truly are alone in the far future stranded and now forced to make a new home aboard Destiny.
