The morning of the 10th, less than 24 hours later...the river was back in it's banks and the city had everything cleaned up and looking pretty again in town! This happens once or twice a year, it's very dramatic looking and you can "feel" the power. I've seen it worse where it sounded like thunder from the rocks hitting each other!
