Old Smoky Candy Kitchen brings back many memories from my first visits to Gatlinburg in the mid-1960s. As a child, and then later as a young teen, the first time seeing taffy being pulled, candy apples being dipped, eating my first caramel apple, and returning year after year for fudge and other treats through these many years is really special to me.

Haven’t had buckwheat pancakes in awhile! My dad always preferred them. They are good but one would be enough to try. Food look yum oh! Enjoy your time together. Love to do something touristy with you two as long as I don’t go near a swinging bridge with Dawn, terrified of heights I got the orange hooded sweat shirt and it’s is just good quality. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your ventures , just wish I join in on the fun.

Hey y’all, I have an idea for some videos. I think it would be helpful to have some review videos on some of the lower priced hotels in pigeon forge. My daughter and I are staying in at the Comfort Inn at Dollywood Lane next month and the reviews are mixed, but we got rooms for right at $100 a night total. It just might be helpful to us families on a lower budget to have some reviews/suggestions for lower priced stays. Maybe even some cabin reviews if those are cheaper options. Just an idea 😊

Another good video. It looked like it was a very nice day for walking Gatlinburg. So nice to see that there was not a lot of people there. When we were. There a few weeks ago it was packed. I always love the walk throughs you do.

Great video, but I do believe Log Cabin Pancake House in Gatlinburg is better, and they have their own parking. You’ll have to check it out. Just past the space needle and across the road from the convention center pretty much.

The British Dipper is known as the Baldwin Dipper at the Nashville locations. It has been my go-to meal at Pancake Pantry for 30 years ❤ That horseradish sauce is amazing!

If you ever get to Wisconsin Dells it's like a small scaled down version of Gatlinburg with alot of the same type of attractions . But has alot of great eats there's Paul Bunyons cook shanty Mr pancake macs Mac n cheese restaurant monks burger etc . They have the Dells boats ghost boats Tommy Bartlett experience downtown Dells has fun shops attractions and great sites to be seen by all !! Let's not forget the waterpark capital one for every age lol come see us this summer 😊❤

Always enjoy your videos. The Ripley’s in Niagara Falls (Canadian side) had a barrel at the end so you could go over the falls in a barrel. It’s been over 30 years since I was there so it may have changed but it was a fun stop.

I can remember when the Pancake Pantry was only opened for breakfast and the Subway was a Witchcraft Museum back in the 70's. Looks like they cut down one of the tree's that used to be in front of the Hayloft in the Village. What a shame. The Olde Smoke Candy Kitchen in the Village was the original location and I still think the best place to get your candy on. The taffy place in Pigeon Forge next to Lil' Dolly's has the best deals on taffy and you can pick and mix which flavors you want instead of just whatever flavors come in the pre-prepared boxes and bags. And it's always made fresh as well.

Actually, the Subway was a Baptist church, the Witchcraft Museum, was a little further in. It became "In Search of" for a little while.

If yall like unique places brushy mountain state penitentiary is a really fun self tour to check out and they have a really good BBQ restaurant and distillery onsite with a ton of cool history and gorgeous scenery of the mountains.

The FRENCH TOAST is easily the best thing on their menu!!! Incredible! You've never had French Toast like this. We've eaten there for over 40 years & it never disappoints! Will is right, everything on the menu is awesome!

That’s the Gatlinburg I fondly remember! Minimal crowds as opposed to how it is most of the time anymore 😢 It may be hard to believe, but we have never eaten at the Pancake Pantry. The only reason being the incredible line that is always outside! I had no idea they served lunch items, either🤷‍♀️ May just have to try it out sometime! Thanks for a great video and God Bless🙏

One of our favorites...Pancake Pantry. I like to get my candy & fudge from The Three Bears in Pigeon Forge. Seems like whenever I get my candy from the Candy Kitchen it seems old or stale.

The “Euclid Tavern” sign in Aldean’s is a part of the history of Cleveland, Ohio. The “Euc” was one of Cleveland’s oldest bars. It was used in the movie “Light of Day” in 1987 starring Joan Jett & Michael J Fox.
