This was a fun parade, but it had something that disturbed me a lot. Being an old Veteran I did not appreciate the Flag I fought for carried in incorrectly. The Stars always lead in the direction they are moving not backwards like they did in the parade. The Flag never retreats.

What a great parade for the 4th of July. It's amazing how many groups are in the parade. I've never heard of a parade being at 12 midnight. When did they start having the parade at midnight? My son and I used to go to the Christmas parade in downtown Norfolk year's ago. We stopped because the last time we went,someone was sitting in our chairs we had set out ahead for the parade. The streets were packed full of people for the parade,which is usually hard to find a spot to park your chairs. We had been going to the parade for at least 20 years.
