I love these "ride along " videos! Please keep them up. Also, for the money, I like zoders inn. It's close enough to the action that you can walk, but still not too expensive. Nothing too fancy, but a clean quiet room to sleep in.

THE ROOMS AT THE MARRIOT ARE STARTING AT $299, AND SENIORS $254 AS WHAT I OBSERVERD JUST TAKING A PEAK AT THE PRICES....WE WOULD NEVER STAY THERE! LOL! I AGREE, THE MOM AND POPS WERE THE BEST PRICE AND USUALLY THE GREATEST PEOPLE AS THEY WERE HARD WORKING PEOPLE JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING AND ROOMS NOT OVER PRICED AND AFFORDABLE. BIG BUSINESS IS PUT ALL THE LITTLE PEOPLE OUT OF BUSINESS....SUCH A SHAME.

The hotel by the Hampton Inn with the 2 buildings past the bridge is going to be an Embassy Suites. It used to be part of the Holiday Inn Holidome I believe that was bulldozed a long time ago. I don't know what the new hotel on Regan Drive is going to be if anyone knows. The Mainstay Suites is getting ready to open on 321 by Leconte Tapas, which will be the first new hotel on that road in forever.

Thank you for the quaint hotel recommendations off the strip i am down for my birthday week with hubby an we chose marshalls creek based off how cute it was this place is nicer then new hotels for a budget freindly stay an the owners an staff are so sweet and welcoming

I stayed at the Sidney James in one of the balcony rooms you see here. On the last day the cook up and quit, so I had breakfast at the Log Cabin Pancake House. 😋 Yummm! ❤

Their dad, Ralph and his twin brother Roy, made the inside pool waterfall, many years ago.. they also owned the mid town lodge. Roy and Ralph had issues 30+ years ago and they separated their difference and sold off things to each. I knew them well. I worked with Roy, whom owned midtown lodge and other properties with Robert and their sisters... I could go on about things.

If you leave a tip in the rooms, and check out at desk, they'll have someone to check the room and, if there's money there, they'll bring it back to office and housekeeper's never know about it. The motel keeps it for their selves...I know, I done it too many mornings as I worked there, many years ago. Some one whom I worked with still works there, and it's, still the same way as before..

I want to thank you for the oIder mom and pop backroad hoteI info. I didn't know most of these existed because when I google hotels it puIIs up the name brand expensive ones on the strip. I am Looking into brookside Lodge now that I didn't know existed? NOW it is doing the same thing with restaurants. Im trying to figure out restaurants on 321 and it is giving me pIaces on the strip. If you get time couId you drive down that way and show us the restaurants or do you already have a video I missed??
