LOVE this video, we stayed here with our grandson for location!! We walked him everywhere and he wore us out. He was afraid to get on the skylift with me but. Loved the old hotel, it was nice, clean and they had a wonderful breakfast. Front porch rocking chairs ended our afternoons each night.❤

Breakfast was decent. It was all you needed. But the location is what makes it worth. That's the main reason to stay here. 😎😎

Is that sky lift still in service? My 2 daughters , my elderly mom and I was there this past Christmas and I thought it was shut down after the fire in 2016? We are all going back again this summer and looking for a nice place to stay that is on the parkway yet we would really like to be on the little pigeon river. I just found you guys a couple months ago and I love every video the two of you put out. I believe you're in WV and we are from Cincinnati. You two are just very chill and your video's have a great vibe to them. Thanks for all the video's you put out on Gatlinburg. My mom is elderly and this is one of her fav places on earth even though she has been to several countries with my daughters and me especially at the Caribbean. My mama loves her some Gatlinburg and Myrtle Beach and one never knows how much time you will have with an elderly parent! Thanks again John and Bobbie. Haha my mama is Bobbie also :)

You are so welcome. It's worth staying at but again we stress the walls in our room we're really thin with noise. The first night wasn't bad the second night was terrible with the neighbors. We would stay here again though ourselves just for the location and the nostalgia. Thanks Jeff 😎😎

I like the panel king on the wall. It reminded me of my old bedroom that I was in not last year but the year before. The day before yesterday I was playing with my grandpas old roretery telephone. Used to have the old push button ☎️. Ilike the hotel and views and the fire place..🤠😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Gosh I don't know if I could swim in that pool. It was pretty, all those people. Seemed like a great location for the hotel. Bobbie looked nice sitting on the porch. I love chairs like that.

@@Prollyfeels Only if you have low expectations. This hotel does not compare to other properties in the same area and price range. This hotel is riding on peoples memories and nostalgia - not a great business plan unless you have a scheduled shut down date in mind.

There are Bears even come into town once in awhile. The skylift does go up the mountain and there are others in town also that do same thing. 😎😎

Yes if you like modern this place is not for you. I like history and the location. The walls are thin. First night heard nothing second night was terrible. It's alot cheaper on the off season. I saw for November it's around 120. You are paying for the location. Thank you for comment. 😎😎
