Gator BITES Boat! 2 days hunting Alligator on Lake Okeechobee! Catch and Cook

In this episode we spend 2 days chasing alligators with Brad from G3 Outfitters. I was fortunate to draw a couple alligator tags in the lottery system for Lake Okeechobee. The first day we bait a really nice gator but after 45 minutes he comes off. Later that day we get a 7 footer, but the hopes for a 10 foot plus were still there. Brad said come back up in a few weeks so we waited patiently and then headed back up. Bad luck struck again and we lost a nice one early, but later in the day we finally got the right one to eat the bait! After an intense battle we put an 11 footer in the boat! Back at home we fry up some gator nuggies! Enjoy!

I do love the long format. The tank is looking amazing and from experience, saltwater tanks are just so cool to look at. Gator hunts aren’t my thing but oddly enough this video managed to get my attention from beginning to end. Keep up the good work

Tank is looking good, haven't seen it in a while, sara probably knows, but you may want to dose phyto at that size to keep it alive, but it might be big enough to not need it, I grow my own phyto. I have lots of coral and i can euro mount those gator heads if you want to trade.

Robert & Gabe Arrington both have said that the really big gators always head for open water when they swallow the hunter's bait, and only the smaller ones head for heavy cover. I guess this 1st big gator that you guys lost didn't get the memo, LOL.

Appreciate it, I’m not running many charter trips nowadays due to some health issues. Im fishing mostly with family and close friends to keep the KZbin channel going and my other social platforms. Plenty of good fisherman out there to fish with, if they have an expensive boat the prices are usually much more, but if on a more affordable boat the charter rates usually reflect that.

A guy v bought a new pickup and was driving to hilton head as a guard. He turned off 17,and a mile up the road isa bridge. On the bridge was a 12 foot gator. He hit the gator went air born and slammed head on into a gray hound bus. State trooper said it was the worst wreck he had ever seen.
