When we say OC it does not mean office changes Billy it means hire a damn OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Getting great offensive recruits without a prolific OC to capitalize on their talents and having Billy run it, is like having a perfect rib-eye ready to cook but then you give it to a chef at McDonald’s cook up. It’s hard to swallow

A bit dramatic. Lagway came in completely raw and then for 3 games or so he had a bad leg. I don’t think Billy is perfect but I think he’s got going in the right direction. And also, Lagway wouldn’t be here if he didn’t like the way Billy called and prepared for a game. Also, the same goes for the recruits.

Hey Zach what happened to the news after Xmas of a new coaching hire
@willhopson127721 сағат бұрын
Maybe this thought is complete ignorance on my part and if that’s the case then that’s fine. But to me, Lagway is here because he likes Billy and he likes the way Billy calls and plans for a game. I don’t really think he wants an offensive coordinator. I feel like if he did, he would not be in Gainesville.

I don’t think any fan is panicking because I’m sure most fans understand it could hurt recruiting to do any staff hiring or firing.
@Rick-so9bx5 күн бұрын
doesnt hurt recruiting. imagine the defensive recruits who would flock to UF for Muschamp as DC, or having a top tier OC bringing it more players.

Crucial doesnt know anything. He is always about clicks and likes...throwing spaghetti noodles on the wall and acting like he knows something when one of the noodles stick. Its the same schtick every single year. With that said...we are paying for 2x OL coaches, one of them making big time serious money with the Co OC title. Waste of money that needs to get fixed. Sale recruits like crap and isn't an OC.

@ChaisePeltier if he doesn't give up play calling and the offense remains this basic and predictable, he will get himself fired. HC or not he's been fired before for his basic and predictable play calling.

@@jmac0643Just food for thought, since Napier has been head coach all of his seasons his offensive unit was young underclassmen. I’m not sure if you guys ever played football, but you can’t complicate the offense when you have players adjusting to playing at a higher level. You have defenses moving around and shifting a lot quicker than what younger players are used to. So Napier simplified his game plan, that way young players can get more adjusted and don’t lose confidence in their abilities. In football, it’s very quick to lose confidence in yourself. All three years prior to 2025, coach Napier had the youngest overall offensive unit in the country. Ranked second behind South Carolina in 2024. And 2023 Napier had the number one youngest offensive unit in the country. So in essence, what Napier did was put all of his chips in the basket betting on young talent instead of caving in to pressure from fans to put band-aids on open large wounds just to win games quickly. Now those fruits of his labor is starting to grow, and what people need to realize is that Napier also switching from 12 Man Personnel Offense to 11 Man Offense. That shows how much confidence he has in his o-line, taking away their safety float which is a converted TE/OL bringing in an extra “X” receiver. In 2025 you guys going to see why Napier has been praised for his “RPO” system he ran prior to UF. From “Bunch Formations” to single man routes, they’re going to look different because of the experience gained in the last 3 years So be patient guys, let things play out. Allow Callaway and Napier to do their job
