Thanks for sharing this video!!!! Didn't know GATR was a thing other than the opening credits of Smokey and the Bandit II. I believe that was the first GATR with "Special K" blew a front tire and almost rolled!

I watched this race from the top of the Budweiser beer truck visible in the infield at 1:41 and 4:22. The good old days.

To : voodoo rocketry, This was the best Big Rig race ever, even if the color wasn't that great and wish the camera guy had a better shot or a great view of the whole track race! But why complain about it am I right? I really enjoyed the race and wish they had the whole first 500K Big Rig racing, so "WE" can watch the full race?
