GATWICK AIRPORT NO 1 LOUNGE - REVIEW & TOUR

Hi all,
We recently visited the airport lounge at Gatwick Airport North - No 1 lounge. We always use a lounge when travelling and figured it makes sense for us to start reviewing the lounges, as well as hotels!
So here it is our review and tour of No 1 Gatwick airport north lounge.

Having visited No 1 lounge a few times, I booked again as I have always been happy . I Visited this lounge 3 days ago, 6am .... Awful, crowded and noisy, I was held up at the security check and entered the Lounge at 06.20. The food was a let down. I had pre booked. Upgrading to Clubrooms as I wasn't impressed this time round .... The toaster in the No1 Lounge was out of order so it was either a fatty fry up or Beans with no toast . The club rooms, Much quieter and relaxed although I couldn't get eggs Benedict as I could at the Clubrooms south Terminal. I don't know if it's a north terminal Clubroom thing ? I would never use No1 Lounge again which is a shame as I used to like it.

That sounds a very disappointing experience. We had a recent poor experience at a different lounge so know how frustrating it can be 👍

Should we book our entry even if we have a business flight tickets ?? Are there any fees to pay or all is free (food drinks ...) my flight will be from Terminal S

Food and drinks are free but there are some additional paid for items such as champagne. I would suggest checking directly if you need to book with your flight ticket as we wouldn’t want to give you the wrong advice 👍

Why its said COMPLEMENTARY IF MOST HAVE TO PAY $50 per person?

@@gggonzalez5966 Well you obviously have to pay for admission but once you’re in everything is then free. We are priority pass members so even our admission is complimentary.

can we arrive there a night before for an early morning flight? approx 8 hours before flight?

No unfortunately not. The earliest access is 3 hours before I believe. It also doesn’t stay open 24 hours. I think it opens at 4am but may be worth checking
