When I was a kid we called these "Batty Braceletes". An elderly man in our beach community would make one of these on the arm off any kid who wanted one. You would sit there for however long it took (it took longer as he got older) talking and him telling you stories. Amazing we would sit still that long! Very nice man and very safe with very good memories. Thanks for the vid; I plan to tie one for each grandchild.

I know how to do this tie because of Knot Tactical's tutorials. It took me a day and a half to manage one bracelet. He does his with large bights.The problem I had was losing bights, and not knowing where they were. I had to keep starting over. ... Your method of tying close appears to eliminate wandering bights. I definitely need to try it this way to share with others. ... I like your new presentation style. Great job, as 99.99999999999% of always. ... Love you, Marko!

Thank you very much for this tutorial. I am a beginner and have one question. How do I adjust the bracelet? If I want to pull the bracelet over my hand, it must be big enough for it. But if it fits over my hand, it's too big on the wrist.
@Paracordguild6 жыл бұрын
Hey there! This bracelet is not adjustable. It is a slip on style. Once you have made an appropriate size you tuck your thumb and little finger under your other fingers and slide the bracelet on. The bracelet usually still has a loose fit, but it works well. If you are a fan of snug fit bracelets, then buckles, loop&knot and other methods may be preferable. Mark
@Feuersturm19686 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, thank you for your explanation. Could you tell me, the wrist size of this bracelet in centimeters. I am German and unfortunately do not understand "9L 16B" :). Thanks for your patience.
@Paracordguild6 жыл бұрын
You are most welcome! The bracelet is first tied onto a Pringles can which has a diameter of about 7.5 cm which is quite large. Then you can transfer it onto an object with a smaller diameter and re-tighten to a smaller diameter as needed. So in short- you can adjust the wrist size of this bracelet by tightening it onto smaller objects. Mark

hi my friend, congratulation but I'm going to tell you something. I'm a Charrúa indian, my people lives in Argentina, Uruguay and south of Brasil. this knoks you call "Gaucho" knock from brasil really it's on of our traditional culture in Uruguay. Gaucho in my mother thong means people who adopt our free maner of life. The first mention of "gaucho" word was made here in Maldonado department in Uruguay, the second mention was in Entre Rios Argentina. "Gauchos" only are called like this only where "pampa" indians live because the Charrúa word was carried from this people. there are gauchos in Brasil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Paraguay. If you look "trança charrúa" you can see other tutorials like your madeing from brasilians but don't are so clear like this. other thing, gaucho culture adopt a lot of things from indians. here some examples, mate, tortas fritas, naco (cigarretes made with "chala" and tobaco), the boleadora and the way of see the nature. My congratulations in name of Charruas and Gauchos people. Santiago Chibí Ferreira, memory gardian and indian referent from MERCOSUR. 👍

Seem I have the opposite experience as many other, because I have to tell you, I've spent altogether three hours in three different settings watching the tutorial, tying, and re-tying and I can't even get the basis turk's head to work with this tutorial. Let alone the gaucho weave. At least for me it's impossible to follow based on the video which bight is which and where are you supposed to go, so the over-unders end up all over the place. It would help so much if you'd consistently name the bights and parts verbally and/or visually and say out front how many weaves at which stage, after which bight and lead
