Barrett Engineering coal fired locos are SUCH good steamers indeed! I have one of their Atlantics done as a LBSCR version in BR black livery with the cut down cab. So easy to fire and steam. The only thing I do not like is that the gauge glass has no blow down valve, but a friend is currently remedying that for me.

Ah, you have Beachy Head! Lucky you. And yes, the lack of a blow down on the gauge glass is annoying, would be very interested to hear/see the remedy! If you're a G1MRA member or are on the Gauge One Model Railways Facebook page, perhaps you could write up a short summary of how your mate added a blowdown? Cheers!

Hi Sim, I'm also located in Eastern New York State and would love to see some of these unique Engines in person. Have you ever visited Adirondack Live Steamers? And is that LBSC Little Jack Horner an engine you'd possibly like to sell?

Fun video.

Great video. Did you paint it yourself or did the kit come with the parts ready painted? Are those Gresley coaches from Peter Rogers? Great combination

Thanks. Loco was professionally built and painted from a kit in the UK and then brought to the States. Coaches are a combo of Fred Newman builds and and scratch built (the triplet). If I had a rake of Peter Rogers coaches, I think I'd sell 'em and buy a nice car!
