Their entire family,right from his Parents,his father make -up Nani,his mother Bhargavi Narayan,I had a privilege to have lunch in Nani Sir’s house in 37th Cross,(as I remember),Jayanagar 7th block.way back in 1994 -95.His sister Sudha belavadi.Totally their entire family is down to earth personalities.

Very enjoyable chat. Watching all these videos. Very interesting.in younger days i use to read Lankesh pathrike in beginning days. As Prakash Sir says it is very difficult to grasp entire personality of Lankesh ( samagra grahike) in single strech. I like his all sort of writings except his writting on politics. The true writer and other talents such as film making, novelist, short story writing, essayist etc disappeared gradually due to pathrike. A great loss to kannada literature. Thanks you both.

Gaurish sir this is an excellent initiative . I met him personally and had dinner with him in Edinburgh, Scotland and we conversed as if we knew each other for decades! PB is an excellent personality and a down to earth human being. Only one request is to not interrupt him too much when he's in the zone and speaking.

What a great personality .. though I have not seen all of his performances, I like his perceptions about great persons like sir Lankesh , Sir Ananth murthy, and others. He is manipulating some issues RSS talks about Dr B.R Ambedkar to attract dalit vote Lankesh would not be easily appropriate by right wing politics. He was a staunch critic of RSS. ದೋಗಳೆ ಚಡ್ಡಿಗಳು was the term he coined for RSS chaddiwalas at that time

Strange how Ananth nag now speaks about vaidhika Dharma and mutts. He was part of the theatre groups which were leftist in nature which included Shankar Nag, Arundathi nag, Prakash belawadi, Girish karnad, U.R Ananthamurthy. These theatre groups always found some reason to belittle or attack Sanathana dharma. It would be interesting to understand what brought this change?.
