Hey guys! Peter here. Hope you enjoyed our 50th video on the channel! We had a couple of things we wanted to note with this episode: 1. Windfall is actually already in the deck, to our dismay! We additionally talked about another card, which ended up not being in color identity with the commander. 2. Because of this, the counts are slightly off for the number of cards to slot in/out of the deck. Remember that they are just suggestions, and you should definitely judge for yourself which ones of these to leave in/take out! For instance, Isperia and Niv-Mizzet are great cards that could work very well in your deck.

Could go Self-Mill, or Mill in general by adding Alharmarant's Archive, Sphinx's Tutelage, Teferi's Tutelage, Blue Sun's, Stroke of Genius, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, and Laboratory Maniac. Cycle the crap out of your deck and the enchantments will Mill (in some fashion) for every draw.

Seems kind of counterintuitive personally because most of the time you wanna get back your cycling spells more than once but it will exile them, instead you might be better off blinking the pheonix or other cards to get value

With companions, can you run them in the deck, just not as a companion?

You absolutely can! You can even run them as your commander (we have a couple of deck techs lined up to showcase that). The only time you have to follow the companion deck building restriction is when you are including them as a 101st card, outside the deck. Putting them in the deck does not force you to make that restriction.
