The precision, the speed, the complexity, the creativity! So many intricate fills. Never repeated. Changing time signatures with such grace. The economy of motion. Such musicality! Like a precision machine; only with the heart and soul of humanity. Extraordinary master at work!

Gavin is the man. That man is just so smooth yet complex that it is hard to believe the drumming could be that melodic.

After the passing of Neil Peart, Gavin has to be my favorite working drummer today. There's a lot of amazing drummers, but I just love his vibe.

Have you seen the whole song from Porcupine Tree? Live from Tilburg? You should if you haven’t….yes, Gavin’s an amazing drummer, but Steven Wilson is the genius that wrote, composed and recruited Gavin to be in the band.

Isn't it wonderful to be able to appreciate just how masterful Gavin is when you see him isolated and then concentrate on what he is adding to the song.. Keep on Rocking.

Loooong ago I suggested the full version of this song, Live....hope you get around to it one day soon, fantastic Prog music!!🤘

I would recommend reacting to Gavin Harrison drum play through of 'White Mist' from another if his bands The Pineapple Theif.

Again ,the innocence in your reactions are endearing. You make a point about every limb doing something different ,its not gravity holding you back ,its lack of practice ,as a guitarist ,I practice 6 hours a day. You want to be the best ,you need to do what the best do. Gavin is the British Neil Peart from Rush. He is Porcupine Tree since 90s to 2017 ,now he is Pineapple Thief.

Gavin Harrison is a GOAT! A recommendation for his playing with Porcupine Tree would be 'Hatesong' Live from 2005. Quite astonishing!

Discovering Porcupine Tree is like discovering the ocean. Spend some time and go deeper and deeper. The shore...the waves..the tide pools are just the beginning. If you like drumming may I suggest you dive into the rabbithole that is Rush. Try YYZ or La Villa Strangiato live. Gavin is a master but Neil is 'The Professor' /peace
