I was there. He never said "come arrest me". He did say at a later rally "whether you like it or not". The state Supreme Court declared those marriages null and void. The event did however sparked the fight towards marriage equality and it became legal in California in June 2013.

We need to rethink some of our procedures. The Supreme court needs to become something judges are elected into and there's a term limit. Then they have to run again. I think they were setting it up for him to run but for President Biden quitting and endorsing VP Harris. Gov Newsom would not challenge her since they grew up together in California politics. I often think about how Trump is a child abuse victim. I have a two year old boy and I think about how Trump was once a two year old boy. This does not excuse his behavior at all. But I remember to love my child.

I work with elderly people who really depend on me. They love me and I love them, but if they ever tried to overthrow our Democracy, like Trump, we would have issues.
