I don't cry when Jack dies either. For me it's when the old couple are lying in bed together with the water coming in and the fact that there was an elderly couple that died on titanic, she never left her husband behind. And the single mother who realised they were never going to get a boat so she went back to their cabin and put her babies to sleep knowing they would die. That always gets me every single time. The best scene is when Rose gets out of the car and looks up at the ship. Soooo impactful and she's stunning. Ps tobu and ash have grown up sooooo much 😩

YES! The elderly couple and the single mum makes me tear up too.
@tish_has_plans_to_read8 ай бұрын
I also tear up at these parts, especially the single mom being a mom myself makes it hit harder, but also at the very end when Rose throws the necklace back and finally lets go 😢
@palefacedbeauty47788 ай бұрын
@tish_has_plans_to_read omg yes! Then when she finally let's go she dies in her sleep and goes back to jack and everyone that died, including cora the little girl and her dad and Mr Andrews 😭😭

What a fun idea! I love the Titanic too. I grew up in NYC and there was house that had the pictures of all the victims in the window. I passed by it every day after school. That's when I got interested. I love Violet, who worked on the ship. She survived, then went to the other ship that sank. She was on 3 major ship wrecks and still went to work on a ship. Badass lady! :D

Tobu and Ash giving each other a bath in the box and then you lifting the flap and them both being like "What? We weren't doing nothing!" hahah cats crack me up man. Damn, did you have to say "The 1997 Titanic" because now I feel ancient. I love the way the lego ship turned out but for some reason I didn't expect it to be that massive. Like.. what are you going to do with it? Glue it together and hang it from the ceiling like a chandelier? This is the only thing that keeps me from buying Lego sets. I'd never be able to take them apart because of the work I put into them but also, what the heck do you do with them after? I think reading some non-fiction books on the titanic or survivors of, would be a good way to commemorate the day as well.

Im a huge Titanic historian. I would say best fictional Titanic story is a middle grade from the Dear America book series. Also i loved Tonight on the Titanic from the amagic Treehouse Series as a kid. A little older middle grade that was pretty good was Ice Berg by Jennifer A Nielsen. I read a weird series called Titanic by Gordon Korman that like combines the Titanic and Jack the Ripper... it was an acquired taste lol. Best non fic was Titanic : Voices from the Disaster by Deborah Hopkins. I wanna say that one was YA but it was just very factual and informative.
