I look forward every week to a Saturday Beans review. Thanks for your perspective. Here in Chicago we are now mostly on lockdown. I've been working from home for a little over a week. Lots of small businesses have laid off their employees. I have a couple of rental apartments and one set of tenants didn't pay this month and the other set that did pay, he drives a taxi so odds are he won't be able to pay rent next month.

Toilet paper “wiped out” !! Hah!! Gotta find a little humor wherever you can! Here in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan I think the situation is fairly similar to everywhere else. There are a lot of empty shelves at the grocery stores. The bars and restaurants aren’t allowed to have customers inside. You can still get to go orders but most places that I have seen are bringing your orders to your vehicle in the parking lot. I’m trying to support some of the local restaurants with take out orders when I can. Stay safe, be vigilant, don’t panic and we’ll get through this. All the best!

West Central Arkansas here. Working from home. Contractor for the Gov. Walmart’s here finally went to limiting TP and survival things.but we can get the necessities. Worries are ratcheting up. Got the feeling the hospital here are in the same boat as your wife’s. We’re always watching local news now and not much of the global news. Too much stress now is not good. Take care my friend. Things in NYS are getting a bit intense. Week two of lock down for me as a state employee I was told not to come in. I commute to the city daily and last week it was to the point where only 5 people where on the bus. Impossible to find paper towels or TP. Food is like you said one day this one day that. Thing are getting bad in NYS. Stay safe pipe smokers.

Hello, my friend. It's nice to see we are still able to get are weekly supply of Beans316. So I do have an answer for you. It is the same, but in flake form. So as with I, you might find the taste to be a little more pronounced then with the ready rubbed version. For me I prefer flake. Glad you liked the Bold Kentucky, it bursts with flavor. For me it's like starving for a few days and then being served a perfectly cooked t bone with potato. Just pure bliss. You and your wife be safe. PRAY, Plan,and Hope for the best.

Dark Flake scented and Dark Birds Eye are both excellent. Ive yet to have a G&H that was even remotely harsh in any way. We had two more comfirmed cases yesterday here in Tucker co yesterday. The first confirmed case in WV the people from Raleigh co stayed right here in view of my house last week. Up here skiing. Same week my famiily got it. We got a lot of our town down with it. Most the resorts have yet to shut down. Were trying to get it stopped asap. The tourists got us in deep up here. Normally wed be slowing down but with everybody outta school and work there coming here. The hospitals up here serve multiple counties and our nearest one is 40 miles away.

watching this review again because i wanted to reflect. reading some of the responses is interesting as well. when i first watched this review was when you had just released it. i had just been furloughed from my job because of covid and was in a real mental/emotional swirl as to what my future would look like. I purchased this tobacco from boswells right after i watched this as sort of a "cheer yourself up" treat. something to help pass time. interesting to reflect on those times and remember. wish i could say things are "back to normal" our world/country gets stranger by the minute now. my grandparents would roll over in their grave if they new what all was going down. welp, again...thanks for the review and thoughts, however old they may be:)

G&H BB 2 Is a great introduction to lakeland profile. Not as strong as many offerings and thats one thing i like about G&H is the variety they offer plus the bulk line option. Although the flake mixture is supposed to be the same blend however i favor it to the ready rubbed and it remind me more of the 4th generation line flake the name of the blend escape my mind or a more matured more complex version of virginia no 1 blend. Same hold true for vanilla cream vs vanilla flake, virginia no1 ready rubbed vs virginia flake. In any case i hope you will find it to your liking, to me it was much more manageable and enjoyable than the mixture (being scottish or scottish modern mixture varieties) Best regards Al janabi

Yes, I do agree, I believe our taste can change for different tobacs. Something that I didn't care for a couple years ago might be worth another try. These are crazy times we are living in! I started trying Burleys around the time Mac Baren did a limited re-release of Burley London Blend. I was impressed. I bought a small amount and now am looking for a replacement. I'm just over the border from West Virginia in Ohio. As the crow flies I'm about 30 mins from Wheeling. Stay well my friend.

MB Mixture flake is Burley, Cavendish, Unknown, Virginia flavor Honey, Other / Misc . Mixture: Scottish blend is Burley, Cavendish, Kentucky, Virginia flavor Other / Misc, Sweet / Sugar. Modern mixture Black Cavendish, Burley, Virginia flavor Other / Misc, Sweet / Sugar. They’re all similar, the Mixture Scottish has Kentucky in it. The way MB uses other, unknown and misc they keep us guessing. The Flake is one of my favorites, as well as a world best seller. Remember, with these 3, sip don’t guzzle or you will get MacBite!! To help with this I age these 3, they get better and bite diminishes. I have some with 10 yrs on them.

We are on "shelter in place" in California. We can go to the store, bank etc...I can get somethings at the store one day and others not. Best of luck to the wife. Tough times for our medical workers, meanwhile you sit on yer duff and smoke 18 year old Perique. Oh the humanity :) I'm getting some whole perique leaves soon can't wait to smoke em to the dome. My friends at wholeleaf managed to sell out temporarily. Hope they get more back.

Dark Flake scented is great stuff but strong it is a Lakeland. Great video! In my area of Sault Ontario Canada we have one confirmed case but there are lots of cases a through Canada. Every Body has gone nuts. There have been deaths here in Canada but I'm not sure of the numbers.

My tin of Best Brown flake smelled like a McClelland VA, vinegar & wood glue. The smell dissipated after a while, but it was rather nostalgic. Haven’t smoked enough to form an opinion yet. You’ll get the dark-fire bug soon, you’ll see. That just seems to be how tastes evolve overtime. Godspeed!👍🍂💨

I'm in north Jersey so it's spreading quickly up here. It honestly just seems directly linked to population density, which makes sense. I don't really feel like people are losing their minds or anything when I go to stores. There's just that added edge. People are cognizant of their surroundings more. I just try to smile at everyone as if to say with my eyes, "we'll get through this." I haven't seen toilet paper in quite some time. Luckily I had a pack and a half that should last me as another week and a half, two weeks or so. Other than eggs, the food I buy hasn't been too hard to come by. I picked up some frozen stuff, boxed rice and beans, and canned veggies as a little extra safety stock, but all of our restaurants are still doing takeout, and some have started doing curbside service. The diner we go to had a little station set up in the parking lot to process takeout. Pass along a big thank you to your wife for working to help us get through it and helping those in need. 👍😊

Here in Michigan we have people coming from out of state and morons from right here protesting. You would think a state would appreciate its governor trying to save your life over worrying about state finances, but of courses shitheads are born everywhere.
