I don't like that this video gave Leon so much time to voice his excuses for sin, and I was a lesbian for most of my adult years before choosing to leave the life, God convicted me and He made it completely clear that He can not accept homosexuality and I had to make the choice to stay or go. Leon said it's impossible for him to fall in love with a woman because he's a gay man.. brother! ALL things are possible with God. And we are here to love and serve God, our priority is not to find a spouse. I never thought I would leave that life and the only reason I was changed was because of our beloved Savior. I have nothing against gay people and I have more of a burden for them because I know what it took to choose to deny that part of myself. And things do need to change, we absolutely need to show more love to homosexuals in the Church, we need to show love to all. Listening to more as the video plays, it's so wrong :( he's stating that God wouldn't want him to fall in love and feel bad about it, it just hurts because I know the truth. Jesus said, deny self - pick up your cross and follow Me. I will pray for Leon, we all have to let go our our sins (homosexual acts or otherwise) and be willing to surrender. I do appreciate what you're trying to do with this video Justin but I think it gave a little too much voice to excusing the sin. God bless you guys.

yes. I completely agree. God created Adam and Eve as a man and a woman. What God thinks is good, doesn't only become an opinion of His that is optional for us, but becomes and ordo that everybody should obey, because He is God, He is the Creator. Your life story is very touching. This video does sound like promoting gay christianity at some sense; correct me if I'm wrong, but I'll be definitely praying for Leon and anyone out there who is in difficult time to choose whom to love. God bless.

Leon brought up that many forget what marriage used to be in the bible, as in a contract and women being property...etc. To that, I would say, it's important to remember that much of the way things were done in the bible is not at all what God condoned or ever intended. Women were never intended to be property and men were never intended to have many wives. There are many examples of this on various topics throughout the bible. As far as going to the synagogues to talk with the drunks, that is kind of what we are talking about here isn't it? It's not only those who are gay and are unbelievers but there are gay men and women, like Leon who are in and a part of the church. So, in a way, we sort of do have to have the discussion "in the synagogue" because many Christians who embrace homosexuality in their lives are gathering there and many are wanting us to come to a different conclusion on what we see the Word of God teach. Now, of course, I truly do wish that heterosexual Christians would stop acting in a tone that says, "if only you would stop being a homosexual, then you could be Christian." Yes, absolutely, the word is crystal clear on the seriousness of sexual immorality (including homosexuality) but God is so much bigger and not only concerned with whether or not we are gay or straight, or sober or drunk, or fill in the _____. He is concerned with transforming us COMPLETELY from the inside out so it doesn't start or end with our sexuality. Our entire sinful nature should die and we should take on the nature of Christ which looks nothing like anything of this world.

This message is directed toward you (Christian vlogger) I sub to you and have seen a few videos .. I'm a bit confused now on why ur slight shift in comparison to the passed video on gay marriage.. Anyway the passage I want to bring to your attention is in romams 1 : 20-32. have you forgotten that? And so what is your point now.. Or what are we are Christians to do? Go so far as changing OUR belief to sugar coat or accept a opposite of scripture for what purpose? I'm not about hate believe me but are we going with " love"more than we are to? what is our point now? we should not be pushed into contradiction to scripture for the ask of showing "love" Cause the gay community is not looking for love per say... They are looking for us to change our core belief and accept a theory contradicting to scripture.. What say you?

+Lumy Nitsa (Oficial) #FIMEARSCARBA if you watch the videos, my view is very clear. If you ask the question it means you haven't watched it. What I'm advocating is treating people like human beings with grace and dignity even as we disagree with people. We will never be able to win someone of a differing view by treating them as poorly as some do. Even in the face of clear sin, Jesus was still patient and compassionate.

And to answer your question, there is no shift in my view on gay marriage. I still believe the Bible teaches a very straight forward man and woman model of marriage. This video wasn't at all about redefining that. In this video, I'm just making a simple point- that in order to have any hope of witnessing to gay people, we must first love them. A major goal in this video was to demonstrate what that would look like in a conversation even if we happen to disagree with one another.

Although I completely believe that Jesus' message was to love people and not condemn them, we can not be forced to accept and celebrate homosexuality. I don't agree with your terminology, you are not 'ignorant', and by saying that you are inferring that christians who follow the bible are uneducated and unenlightened. Also why is Leon trying to impose his human ideals and clearly wrong interpretations as bible teachings, this is exactly what Jesus was talking about.

I really like that the video focus on how we should treat others. That being said...I truly do not agree with Leon's POV. He rationalized his thinking to justify his lifestyle. Truthfully...don't we all do that to some degree? So I really can't fault him for that nor will I condemn him or anyone for that. We end at two different conclusions in what God deems sinful and normal. But in the end, should he or any LGBT be treated any different than your brother/sister? I think not! Main reason why I wanted to say my input: would hate to think this video encouraged LGBT lifestyle and to normalize it. I know you and I talked about this off KZbin but just wanted to add that point on this thread.

As a Christian, we should treat everyone with love. But we should also gently reveal the truth of God's word to people who are oblivious, like Leon here. And there are multiple testimonies of homosexual people turning away from homosexuality because of and through the power of Jesus. So saying they were born that way is wrong, in a way. And at the end of the day, it is vital to treat people the way Jesus would but encouraging their sinful lifestyle is wrong and isn't what the word teaches us to do.

I couldn't agree more.Being gay is a matter of ontology...a state of being..much like left handedness or the colour of your eyes. Its physiologically fixed and cant be changed. But he is right...you cant win people to christ or love them by aggressively reproaching them...I mean really you wouldnt start a connection by telling someone off for their anger or asking them if they sleep with their girlfriend or -if married-ask them if they look lustfully at other women would you???..so why make gays the ones who have to be corrected?

I think this is one side of the coin. Yes, we are called to love every person no matter what they did or still do. But we are never called to justify their sins. "Love, the sinner, hate the sin."

Many Christians dont believe homosexuality is a sin,and that God created some people gay as part of his purposes and diversity of creation. Many prominent Christians and theologians realised that the bible doesn't condemn committed gay relationships..such as Bart Ehrman,Tony Campolo,Archbihshop Rowan William's,David Gushee,Jim Wallis,Jim Brownson and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

For me, using the term "homosexual" sounds clinical and distant, the opposite of what someone trying to start a relation building conversation would position oneself. Also, while I know I can't speak for others, to refer to my "lifestyle" as if you know anything about it, is also off-putting. I know I'm s**ually attracted to women and that's not changing even though I'm celibate. I simply don't have the emotional energy to go through the dating process. I may have Schizoid Personality Disorder so the emotional need to bond with others isn't as strong for me as it is for others. Also, relationships were not an important focus growing up, being educated and self-sufficient was. (My father abandoned my mother and us 3 children all under 5 years old and she was new to the country. After a lifetime of doing everything right that one bad decision of who she married made her life something she couldn't have expected. What helped her get through it was her faith, determination, & independence. Us siblings aren't thriving in life but at least we have no criminal records, children, or addictions.) My point is people are far too complex to reduce to a single aspect of their identity. Edit: I'm not Christian (I'm agnostic, though was raised Christian) neither will I ever consider returning due to the strong position they take against non procreative relationships. We live in a world where we aren't dying from every disease and can prevent many illnesses through science-proven hygiene (Leviticus telling people to kill animals for their blood to make them clean somehow?). Therefore it's no longer imperative that every singe person reproduce to their maximum capacity to keep the population numbers high. Instead people can make choices beyond their genital functions on how to live in the best way they can, to the fullest expression of themselves. I find that many religions are too obsessed with growing their numbers through subjugation than raising the full expression and value of their people. I feel particularly sad for the LGBTQ+ religious folks who feel they need to continuously fight part of themselves to be accepted as a person worthy of association.

God said he will never leave us nor forsake us. People in the church are just weak people who fall short of Gods glory, they will leave you and forsake you. So don’t put your trust in a mere man, trust God. We seem to think that because a man or woman are in the pulpit everything they do is right. No! The church is for those that are weak in their spirit. The church does not only hurt homosexuals, they hurt each other too with jealousy, gossiping, coveting and many other things. Some of them even commit adultery, fornication and under cover homosexuality.

You are not to be FRIENDS with lost people. Witnessing is not a friendship. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says "do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers." "Come out from among them and be separate." "Do not fellowship(be friends) with the unfruitful workers of darkness but rather(instead) EXPOSE them. Exposing homosexuals is one thing but being friends with them is another. You practicing heresy by teaching this. Loving a homosexual or ANYONE lost is done by rebuking(correcting) them. If they don't heed the correction you are to move on. Or you just as lost as they are if you be friends with someone God says to not fellowship with. The fact that you even could teach this makes me wonder are you lost. I believe so. The Holy Spirit would not allow to teach heresy with no conviction or at least doubt.

When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: 'Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?' On hearing this, Jesus said to them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.'" It seems like you're that pharisee. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. The worst thing about this video is asking us to be comfortable with a sin that God clearly hates. Sugarcoating sin doesn't make it pretty..... you guyz should define love cz the love you are talking about is not the love of God. Even the Bible says that he who God loves He chastises, and chastisement has never been pleasant. Imagine a parent sugarcoating the wrongs of a child, you are not helping that child. You cannot choose portions of the Bible that suit you and leave the ones you don't agree with. Read what God says about homosexuality,it is clear,God did not sugarcoat it. Jesus overturned the table of money changers and He went in with a whip, not tolerance.

Faith is the substance (manifestation) of things hoped for, the evidence (show proof of) of things not seen. If we confess (say) that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that we believe in our hearts that he died and shed his blood on Calvary cross, and that God raised him from the dead three days later and we never saw that, we are working our faith (conscience). So that same faith (conscience) that believe that is the same faith (conscience) we need to stop doing whatever we are doing that God says is sin. Faith without work (trying and conquering) is dead. God is not going to do it for us.

Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
