It’s funny. As much as I adore hearing Judy Garland sing this, I just can’t deny the charm of hearing the man himself sing this bare bones version. I love his intro, too.

Judy said that next to Over the Rainbow, this was her favorite song. It’s just interesting how telling her favorite songs were about her life (as all of our favorite songs songs are about us as individuals) But I think Over the Rainbow to Judy was about escaping from all her troubles and cares and Little Drops of Rain was about not taking any moment of her life for granted (no matter how imperfect it may seem)
