I firmly believe that it was a declaration of some sort. It was subtle and could be interpreted as them singing about their significant others. But when Han’s lyric “I want to give you an armful of cosmos flowers” I had no doubt it was about them. Cosmos flowers are LeeKnow’s birth month flowers. Nevertheless, I’ll support no matter what relationship they have, only they know what the song was about

Yes! This song was like intentionally written for us to think and feel some type of way. The more I convince myself that they may just be friends/bros, the more they pull me back into this idea that they seem so real. Anyway, not going to force them to come out or anything (if ever it is true) because I definitely know for sure the world isn’t ready for that. I just wish them all the best in the world and their bond to be stronger than ever. ❤ love them! ❤

I have this kind of relationship with one of my best friends, but she has a boyfriend and i have no desire to actually ever date her. intense platonic love can very easily be confused with romantic love, and the jokingly romantic friendship is so common between women but never tolerated and/or immediately written off as gay between men. what's the point in speculating anyway? does it really matter so much?

Cosmos are Linos birthflower, and his favorite flower. Also, the "pink chroma background and surrounding scenes" I mean... it EXACTLY matching the background they are showing us. I also think the picture of them wearing lipstick was also them saying... something, but it could just be my imagination too lol... however, the pic is OBVIOUSLY from SKZ code which took place at the amusement park... where they rode the roller-coaster, TOGETHER. I get the feeling they felt that was, perhaps, a "less obvious" route than posting the photos of them ON the Rollercoaster, but that emough fans would get the connection. Meanwhile, the other photos are from their personal outings together. Also, YES! I AGREE with you on the whole purpose of the lyrics and the way Han wrote it. I most definitely believe that is the reason they did it like that. And honestly, yes, i feel deeply that this was a STEP in that direction for them, in fact, i feel they have been taking steps for a while now. And yeah... a lot of fans, after this song, said they would leave if they were. But you know what, we will support them even heavier and more completely if that day ever comes. People are good, and people are horrendous. All we can do to combat the latter, and be the aforementioned.

Minsung are one of my 3 soulmate ships. I joke about the whole "not stamped the papers" thing and the rest of the group being chief Minsungers but they have clearly labelled themselves as soulmates and being Aro I know that love does not have to be romantic to be any less valid. Until they state otherwise their status is soulmate in my eyes, I will always support them if they are platonic, romantic, QPR or if they never define it as anything other than soulmates. I just want them to be the happiest they can be when the eyes of the world are out there analysing every breath they take.

During the song Q&A Han did, he didn't say what the song was inspired by (only that his favourite part (pink background) was inspired by manga feeling) when normally he has a specific movie/refrence. A fan also asked if he and lee know were getting married at the upcoming concert (cause that's what seungmin said) and he said ... not yet cause I'm too young, and don't have the confidence to live with Lee know yet. I agree that the song and the Q&A were both testing the boundaries... not explictly saying something but not saying no either.

the second i heard this song my first thought was that it sounded like it could be in a slice of life anime. its so good and so so sweet. i do think it was a statement on their part because so many of the lyrics allude to things that we know has happened between them, but they made it safe enough to say its not. i do not believe that if they are together they will ever come out officially, not while they're still in the spotlight at least. they will have SO MUCH support if they do, but there is a reason Holland is the only out male kpop idol. South Korea, much like a lot of east asia, are sooooo fucking behind when it comes to acceptance of the LGTBQ+ community, which is insane to me considering how much money they make off of BLs smh.

HA! 69 Likes!!! I agree. This song IS adorable. I think one of the reasons so many of us became feral when this was released is because during Seungmin's Birthday live, Seungmin was asked what the dress code is for the concert this weekend. His answer (ICYMI) was something like, "Wedding attire for Minsung's wedding." So...will I be attending a concert this weekend or a wedding? I can't wait to find out!! Whatever they choose to do or not do, at least all the Western STAYs living in Korea who I know do and will continue to love and support them.

I have heard from Korean Stay who also support Minsung. Some refer to them as Squirrel and Bundle. Remember when Lee Know showed in the SKZ Survival show how his parents taught him to keep his clothes in bundles and he started pulling bundles out of everywhere.

Those two have been sailing the fine line between fan service and relationship for years. This song just feels like they took it up a notch. I can see it in a soundtrack of a romcom or comedic teen K-Drama. I have a few ideas. It could be them just playing with us. Han writing the song and picking Lee Know to sing it, because it can be interpreted as a "maybe"-relationship. Perfect fan service material. It creates attention, views and interactions. It is clearly great for business. It could also be them using this as the closest thing they can do to come out, while still maintaining their idol status and not getting kicked out of the label / industry / ... Even if things are getting better in Asia, them actually coming out would be a career suicide in Korea at this point in time. CisHet Idols still have to apologise for being in romantic relationships or getting married and begging fans to still stan them. So unfortunately we can picture the backlash too well, what anything LGBTQ+ would cause. This could be the thin veil they need for deniability. What's quite clear to me in all their interactions and what you can hear very well in the song: these are two people, who have a close relationship. The nature of this relationship is their own business. And it will stay that way until an official statement of one kind or the other. Until then, I enjoy the music and everything else they share with us.

All I wish for is that people could just simply open their minds to the POSSIBILITY that they might be together. But some people can't even do that. I figured by now that many people who will call you "delusional" for saying that they might be more than friends are just really opposed to the idea of shipping real life people and reject shipping in general because they're probably used to seeing the worse kinds of that like Larries, bts shippers, whatever (even though there have also been examples were fans shipped people who actually were together, like Tom Holland and Zendaya but whatever). Or they dislike the content that some shippers put out (aka heavily edited, slow-downed video clips that take things out of context and I get it, I also don't like that). I can understand their reasoning when it comes to celebs who have made it clear that they don't like it but Minsung have been shipped since fucking 2018 and both of them AND the members continue to play into it more than ever. They know that fans ship them. All the members in Stray Kids are shipped with eachother and there is a ship for every member combination. It's not just Minsung. It doesn't affect their relationship. Han literally posted "Boddaramji (their Korean ship name) forever" on Bubble. Do people really think he would do that if he hates the thought of them being shipped? But anyways, most people don't even know or care about their dynamic and interactions over the years and just categorize everybody who likes seeing them together as "toxic shippers" and that's it. Sadly there are also people who are simply homophobic (whether they realize it or not), who genuinely think that assuming someone is straight is normal and good, while assuming someone is queer is automatically weird and bad. I liked you comment about the song being protective in a way. I’ll also support them with whatever their relationship is! It’s been interesting to see how Stays have been so happy and protective! Personally I feel like as idols that if more invested fans suspect and support a potential relationship but if from outside of the fandom if random people just assume it’s a regular love song and that the fans are delulu that’s a good outcome. Thanks for the reaction! It definitely sounds like a them song! It could be heard in a videogame, a (rom-com) K-Drama or an anime! All 3 of those wrap them up nicely! I'm on team "soft launch" and I call them "soulmateship" because both of them call each other soulmates. They recorded it on August 4th & Han said it took him 3 hours to get everything together! Insane right? Also, he could only think of Lee Know to work with this duet! Lee Know's vocals TOTALLY shine here and it makes me happy! Minsung is adorable!

I will support them no matter what, this is adorable I agree. Personally, I think they have been testing the water a lot over the years and a lot of Eagle-eyed Stays have picked up on it weather it has been unscripted slip ups or they were intentional in a lot of their things that they do, either it be in one live in particular, skz family, or whatever. Personally, I am here for it, they make a good couple. I firmly believe if they are a couple a large and I mean large portion of stays are behind them and accept it with open arms, if they are not and just having a really deep brotherly love we will accept that also.

I was waiting for your reaction. Your smile says a lot ;) I agree with you 100%, that said, MinSung are continually becoming louder. Just with this song, the personal pics on the cover, LeeKnow's birth month flowers, Han's line about "the first time I saw you, it was meant to be, for me, it's you", and of course the release date of this sweet little song being "I Love You" day in Korea. Then there is all the things all the boys have been saying over the past little while... LeeKnow asking who liked him most (in concert) and Han's hand flying up, Han introducing himself and saying he likes LK, Seungmin's live where he said come to the concert in wedding attire for Han and LK's wedding, then Han's latest Bubble about not being confident enough to live with LeeKnow YET (which I wonder if that means letting the world know or a more personal thing). I'm thinking if there was ever a band that would be willing to open boundaries, it's SKZ and those boys will definitely support MinSung, no matter what their relationship is.

Ngl, I was waiting for your reaction to this song. Thank you! It's great and entertaining as always. I have many thoughts about this song, and all of them happy. Whether it's a declaration of some kind, I love it. Whether it's a mischievous "trolling" of fans in the best way possible, I love it. Whether it's a show-off of ridiculously good skills and talent, I love it. Whether it's a simple joy of Lee Know & Han working together, I love it so, so much. That being said, I don't believe there is any kind of randomness in anything SKZ do. We also know how they like to call out the haters, so I wouldn't be surprised if in a part it was also a shout-out "we're not afraid of anything you may think about us" to those who might criticize or even threaten any of the members. i agree with what you said about them sort of testing the waters. i feel like they've been doing a lot more of that this past year or so, like saying a lot of things that could be passed off as jokes but seem a little too real. and the members always talk about minsung's relationship like it's an open secret... it's just hard for me to interpret this song any other way lol (especially with the fucking collage of their date pics in the background 😭), but that's all speculation and i support them regardless of course ❤ but if any of the members are queer, i do kind of worry for them. it's true that progress is being made, but i've heard from koreans that it's mostly the younger generation becoming more accepting, not so much the older generations aka the people in power, and it can still be pretty dangerous to be openly queer. i've heard that the group onlyoneof has gotten a ton of backlash in korea for their explicitly queer mvs. i also read a statistic (can't remember the source so take this with a grain of salt) that around 60% of the korean population is homophobic. it's sad, but it's probably not possible for any of them to officially come out anytime soon (if they are queer).

Skz career isnt only based on Korea. From the most recent stats, their popularity is well divised between Asia, Europe, latin America, USA/Canada. Korea is their home of course, but if we only talk about career, their biggest market isnt Korea and i believe they would survive IT if they were to chose to come out or support LGBTQ more openly. They are that big right now. IT's similar to believe that BTS would be over if one member would openly come out. No. IT not true..and BTS market, from recent stats, is way more located in Asia than Skz.

@@nancyguenette4020 yes, skz are more popular internationally, and they definitely wouldn't be over if they came out so i agree to an extent, however it would be a huge blow to their reputation in korea and skz and the company definitely wouldn't want that. kpop entertainment companies pretty much always prioritize their artists' korean fanbases and reputation in korea regardless of their international fame (i think bts is an exception at this point), it's an important factor in artists getting on music shows and variety shows, winning awards, keeping their companies' stocks up, etc. and by dangerous, i didn't just mean in terms of their career. they would almost certainly face discrimination in korea, possibly even from their own friends and families, and would be putting themselves at a higher risk of violence (i'm speaking from experience as a lesbian living in southern US). it's why coming out is so hard for anyone in a more socially conservative country, idol or not. there are pretty much guaranteed social repercussions, especially with such a huge spotlight on you

The amount of comments that I've seen by now, insisting that Minsung shouldn't be shipped because it would make them uncomfortable since they're "best friends / like brothers to each other" is honestly mind-boggling to me. If they are "just friends", they clearly have shown over the past months that they don't give a shit about being shipped. They are well-aware and so are the other members. If anyone would be uncomfortable at this point, this song wouldn't have seen the light of day. Han really doesn't need to reply to fan signs at concerts or questions on Bubble about their "wedding" or whatever and yet he still does. Just look at Seungmins birthday live; when some fan texted "Can you marry Felix?" his reaction was like "what the hell" and like ten minutes later he unpromptedly decides to joke about Minsung (which was also obviously a hint at the song release). If anyone is uncomfortable or annoyed about something, we will know about it. Of course (like you already said) some shippers really take it too far, but as far as I've seen most shippers are pretty tame and just super supportive of whatever they have. They enjoy the content and like to see them together and like I said, Han and Lee Know clearly don't care about how their relationship might be interpreted. There's nothing wrong with expressing support. Also I know people like to joke about shippers being delusional, but some antis are honestly not better. I've seen so many comments at this point, implying that "straight" is just the default for everyone and it's wrong to assume someone might be anything else because they all probably have pretty girlfriends at home and whatnot. Some anti-shippers don't even realize their own homophobia, it's crazy. Considering how open-minded and inclusive Stray Kids as a group are, I was shocked to see stuff like that. I'm also tired of people insisting that it's all "just fan service", because it implies some sort of "fakeness"? Of course they play into it because fans enjoy it, but some people out there act as if they're forced by the company and it's all just an acted performance, which is just so disrespectful towards SKZ. They've been super close for YEARS. Implying that their real relationships are just an act...how dense can some people be. That being said, I absolutely love the song. I support both of them and hope they continue to stay happy and unbothered together. And I'm excited to see what other "happy love songs" Han still has hidden away because he said on Bubble there are a lot ;)

Honestly if there's a Skz member who's a part of the lgbtq+ community, I wish that they never come out . Its a terrible thing to say , but it'll be best for them not to come out . For me this is what I stand by even though I am not Christian, we are not to judge other people for what they do in their lives. We don't live with them, we don't walk in their shoes, we don't know what they do throughout the day. It is for whoever the higher power you believe in to judge, not us lonely humans. Han answered several questions about the song by his Bubble account, stuff like how he wrote the song in 3 hours, that staff picked out the artwork for the background. He implied the company would never let them release something as a coming out. Someone asked him about Seungmin saying Han and Lee Know were getting married at the upcoming concert in Seoul. (I don't know why people thought that because they are pro Idols growing their success and the West may be less conservative than S Korea but we are far from completely open to artists who are open, also the two of the have mandatory military service ahead of them). Han said he was too young to get married. Then he said he is not confident enough to live with Lee Know hyung. So a lot of people are still guessing about things. To me he cleared up that the wedding was a joke but he talks like everyone already knows they are together. It all makes sense: people who want to see them as just platonic soulmates can do so without their minds melting, because people are already saying he was joking. . Anyway the audio of the message played too and he sounded very matter of fact. He didn't giggle until the end after he talked about the idea of living with Lee Know. So a lot of people guess that him saying he's not confident enough to set up house with Lee Know because of the backlash they would receive. It could be that because I felt that might be why they are the only two members who didn't sign up for Instagram accounts. They want that extra privacy. So I know what my opinion is but I have felt that way because the other 6 members and many of the staff treat "Minsung" like an open secret. I think that's a way to support them and protect them at the same time. Fan supporting them must feel good because Han responds to every fan poster at concerts he sees that asks him about his relationship status by pointing at Lee Know. If people don't agree, that's fine but they have proven time and again they don't care that they are shipped. Sorry this was long.
