Great Video! This crossing sounds like Fruitridge Rd #5 here in Sacramento because of how the Safetran Bells ring.

They're likely earlier Safetran bells, so the gongs likely weren't changed yet.

As I mentioned in the description, that's because of the overhead power lines that the gate arm would strike if it did. Thanks!

@@freebrickproductions thats not the gate arm thats the gate itself

@@ThePurpleMage1 "Gate" can be a bit of a vague term at times (especially since it's what some people call gated signals), so I use "gate arm" to be more specific.

The bell on the right signal is dead now. I recorded a train there a couple days ago.

Awesome Video! I can't find your email listed on your about page. One of the bells sounds like a griswold bell.
@freebrickproductions6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It should be underneath the description, normally hidden by a button that says "view email address". Click on that button and it should have you do a Captcha before it shows you my email. And both of the bells are likely early Safetran bells, so they might've been made prior to the molds for the gongs got changed.

Awesome catch and I like this crossing! Its very unique with the Incadescent lights and Safetran bells. On this line, has CSX been upgrading signals or have they been leaving them alone since the last owner of this line?

Thanks! CSX has upgraded some of the signals, while most others only get changes when needed, it appears.
