I had to pause this video so I could get supplies and craft along! I love these sort of techniques where it feels like I'm getting my hands dirty. Instead of plastic wrap I'm using a cereal bag, and I'm out of modpodge so will use watered down PVA glue. Can't wait to see how it goes. Thank you for the tutorial!

Gayle…your using napkins and peeling off the white backing brought back a funny memory from back in the days of (that virus we don’t speak aloud). Everyone in the world was losing their mind and buying all the toilet paper! I decided it would be a good idea to pull off the white parts of my decorative napkins and save them in case we ran out of TP. The ziplock bag of them is still in my bathroom cabinet lol. (Just in case) I remember telling you about it and I think you had the same idea. 😂 I always did love solving problems haha. ❤Tammie PS I commented before you were done and you mentioned this 😂.

Good afternoon Gayle!❤ This are fun to make! Very sturdy covers. Made 3 or 4 after I saw you do them quite some time ago. In the ever humid south, took mine several days to dry. Turned out darker and shinier than I expected and still a bit ‘sticky’ even now. 😊 Maybe I’ll try PVA glue instead of matte mod podge next time and more white napkins than I used before. Experiment time! 😆 Have a great week! ❤

Hi Gayle. I would love to try this but I don't have much for napkins...I need to dig and see if I can find enough of them to coordinate into a cohesive look. Does it have to be Mod Podge or will any white glue work? (I think it would but want your expert opinion 😊). Also, when it drys does it get that "sticky/tacky" feel Mod Podge is notorious for leaving behind? TFS. I hope you and Mike have a great day. 🌞
