The only thing I miss about out my job (retired January 2022) is the used file folders, the office printer and recycled paper (excellent for gel printing). I’m very envious of all your scraps. Well back to bed. Have whatever this cold/flu thing that is going around. Take care, stay well.

Morning Gayle! I keep my scraps in the plastic envelopes, prevent’s paper from bending. I don’t have as many as you do, but it does pile up quickly. I separate scrapbook paper from the copy paper. Have a great Saturday! 👍🎄

You know now I feel awful about my disorganized scraps after watching this.😂 one thing about going through scraps is it never fails I’ll come across some scraps of papers I love that I don’t have anymore of and have to haul everything to start making something with them. Which hinders the organization attempt altogether. Guess I’ll have restrain myself for crafting while organizing. Thank you once more for sharing Gayle. 💖

I reorganized most of my scraps and random painty etc papers. My smaller scraps are use it or lose it this year. I made 12 or 13 Franken papers yesterday. I am mostly a cardmaker and sometimes a journal maker. I am LOVING the journal I made for myself on Thanksgiving and Friday. I am actually using up scraps and random papers. Gluing in white paper or sketch paper gives me room to write.

I use those pan lid thingies (you know the things you put in your cabinets to stand up your lids)as file separators to hold my baggies/file folders. Looks like your box lid has seen better days, lol.

Wow! Love this video! 😀 some of us aren't quite so prolific and could use your throwaway stack! LOL 😆 My scraps are actually in notebooks in page protectors by color, since most of my scraps are cardstock. I do have a little 2-drawer plastic box behind me with small cutoffs of plain cardstock colors, kind of like your strips box. Next time you make strip clusters, I'll have to make along with you. I like to sort my scraps by thickness and paper type and also squares, strips less than 1 inch wide, patterned paper and large papers 8x8 or bigger.

That puffy packaging stuff would be great behind the vocal point like when you use book page. A new look with great texture. Wish I had YOUR scrap problem. But you have to be in your craft room to make scraps. I haven't been in my craft room for a least six months. I want to make stuff to sell on Etsy. But to scared to do it. Use to be on Etsy to sell corks and bottle caps for a program to earn funds for the wildlife refuge center I volunteered for. I called the program Corks and Caps for Critters. Grants funds couldn't be used to pay for electricity, heating and water bills. So the director was paying out of her own pocket. I just started there and told her she should do some fund raisers to pay for the those bills She said she didn't have time to do something like that. So I set up the program and sold corks and bottle caps on Ebay and Etsy. And all the funds went to the wildlife center. The corks and bottle caps were donated from restaurants, wineries and the public. I did it for four years. Then one of my customers passed away and she left her estate to the corks and bottle caps program. Which was enough pay for the center bills for years to come. Thank you for listening to my story. There is no way that I could keep all the scraps that you do. I would be so overwhelmed. I wouldn’t be able to get anything done. Typically when I am done with a project, I put all the scraps in a bag and put them out on rummage. I just can’t handle the clutter of having them all around me.
