❤ Gayle re: your unfinished projects, if I’ve got a project that hasn’t been completed for over a year it’s normally because my hearts not into it so I deconstruct it into its parts and put them back into my stash of covers, pages and ephemera. It’s a hard decision but if those projects are just lying around pulling your attention and getting you frustrated.......just deal with them. Finish can almost mean finished with.

The things that are with the pink journal are just extras. They don't go with the journal per say. It can even just be a writing journal and be considered done. I would hate for you to stress over it. Plus there's 11 more months in the year. Please do what brings you joy and go in the direction your heart leads you. The pink bunny pocket you put in the bunny journal I believe has a secret journal spot behind the tag (it flips up). And yes, I just finished an unfinished coffee journal that was started in 2021 thanks to you inspiring me to finish. I also started another coffee themed journal of a completely different style. I know by today your mood is probably a complete 360° from when you made this video. Once again you kept me company through an uncomfortable night. I hope you weren't exhausted this morning. You should always work on whatever project moves you, and I have never met a Gayle video I didn't love. Even so, since you are remembering old friends on Forgotten Friends Friday, I want to mention the Feminine version of your Waterfall journal. It wouldn't break my heart at all to watch you finish that. I re-watched that series recently and still count it as one of my favorite journals. It’s funny about your carpenter with his ideas. A little over a year ago I had my front yard totally redone I had all the old lawn pulled out and the old plants and had it all re-done for drought tolerant landscaping with rocks and plants with drip irrigation. I’m on the corner so my yard was huge and goes down the side street so it wasn’t a cheap project and then my landscaper would come up with these ideas. Every time he said hey I have an idea I knew it was going to cost me money. 😂 But he did build a low curved wall because my yard slanted and I love the wall, it was worth every penny.

Hi Gayle Au Bon Marché probably refers to a big department store in Paris France called Le Bon Marché (but we would say that we go Au Bon Marché instead of go to Le Bon Marché, you know French is sometimes complicated 😅) It is located on the left side and is currently on the high end but when it was revamped in 1856 it offered good deals aka Bon Marché. The building is quite magnificent. Have a nice day 💕

According to the internet they are still around and the Kurfees Paint has been re-branded under the name of Gray Seal Paint. They are located in Louisville, Kentucky right next to Liquor Barn Express!! You can't make up funny stuff like this!! 🤣🤣Great page!!

I like what you said about your parents-Business School or no good job--same with me--doesn't matter what you do so long as you have typing and shorthand skills you can get a job anywhere---I worked at Montgomery Wards!? I graduated in 1980---the beginning of the end of typing jobs.

Yep, that was a thing back in the day, learn how to type so you can get a job. After high school I went to the MTI business college to learn keypunch, never used it, got a job with the state and computers were starting to come in and that’s what I learned to really type on. I knew enough to pass the test but my supervisor walked behind me one day and said why are you looking at the keyboard, don’t you know how to type? I learned. She was the same mean supervisor who also said five minutes is sufficient for anything you have to do in the bathroom. I’m surprised I lasted four years in that hell hole. It’s funny when I graduated from high school I was not a kid that got a car, nope, I got a clock radio so I could get up on time to go to work, I fooled my parents, I got a swing shift job and I didn’t have to be to work until three in the afternoon.

Another wonderful MM page today. They just seem to fall together perfectly for you each time. Gayle I think for each 4 or 5 finish it up journals you need to start a new journal of your choice. I know when I look at the things I should get finished it becomes daunting. But if I start a new project and finish it then I can tackle a few of the things set aside. Just a thought.
