Hi Gayle: It's amazing what you accomplish in just 1 hour! I'm working on calendar pages. I run a scrapbook calendar swap. Each person creates 12 calendar scrapbook pages for their chosen month. Good afternoon Gayle & Friends! I’m so late to the party!! Chores and errands delayed my video watching. Tough to be an adult! But the doggy will be all freshened up, Christmas card order was delivered, there might have been a little stop at a store or two snuck in there also! BUT the question was what am I working on. Christmas journals!! Oh and organizing/decluttering some of my craft supplies. I’m tried of not being able to find what I’m looking for, so my craftroom is getting a major overhaul and organizing. Let’s be honest, no one can take that chore on in one day! So I organize little everyday and craft a little everyday to keep my heart full of joy. The folk art journal is adorable! And how you decorate amazes me (and inspires). Hope all is well with all my crafty buddies. Blessings and hugs. ❤❤❤ P.S. Hope the grand daughter won her volleyball games!

Good morning, Gayle. Yes, still working on Fall journal and stuff, started a kit by DJ at Hither and Yon (Farm journal). Just can't bring myself to do Christmas just yet, probably by the end of this month or early November. I, unlike you, do not sell what I make, it is just for me, so there is no hurry to get it done. Wish I could, but just working a full-time job and trying to do anything more is too much for me right now. Morning Laurette! I don’t keep a list, but put my up coming projects in a 13 x 15 baggie. Remember how I organize my journal projects in a plastic bag before going to retreat? I do that with my upcoming “home” projects too. For instance, I have a bag of 6 or 7 Christmas journal baggies. That way, if I come across the perfect piece of ephemera or page, I slip it in that particular baggie. Then just grab a baggie when I’m ready to do another project. Hope that makes sense and helps! ❤

Just an idea. For us. Sewing on paper for dummies lol. I just cannot set the tension on my machine and I am always wrecking things. So I just gave up. But. It can work sometimes on my covers. But not papers. And then vice versa depending on the material I am using. Soooo frustrating. Hopefully I will find a local sewing class.

Some crafters call that “creative stitching” when it gets all knotted up. 😅. I do understand when the tension is so off that threads just pull out. My machine is hit and Miss with paper, but doesn’t mind cardstock.

I have my license but absolutely hate to drive. I'm 45 and have never driven on a interstate or highway. It really gives me anxiety. The older I get the worse the anxiety is getting and now riding in a car makes me anxious.

Hi Gayle!.. love this kit of Joey's it's an overload of cuteness isn't it?.. When you showed us all your wonderful Xmas stash I thought (and I may b wrong , cos my memory's terrible) but didn't you have some lovely laces with your xmas stash? especìaly the red laces?.. I was just wondering, why you haven't used any? Being xmas im decorating mine madly but then I'm doing some for my 2 of my grandaughters x they are both 12yrs old cos you cant have too many xmas decorations when kids are getting them, so I'm spending the day doing that, its my favourite way to spend a day... And you both have a nice relaxing trip x enjoy the game, x good luck to them!..

Hi Linda! I didn’t use red laces on the page edges of this book, because it has more of a maroon in it. I have those Christmas laces right at hand though and have been using them on ephemera and such. 👍❤

Hi Pamela! Yes! Almost every one of my journals is hard to part with! 😊. But…my husband said when I started this…are we going to have these all over the house? 😂. That let me know that I better share them! 😂. Also, I enjoy purchasing other people’s journals for my own journaling. I have kept a couple unique journal styles to remind myself of how I made them. You make me nervous with those straight pins rolling around on your desk. I'm worried that they will roll off your desk and step on one. I know you are sometimes without your shoes when you are sewing. If you don't have room on your desk for pin cushion, maybe use the little strawberry that attached to the tomato. 🍅 as a pin cushion. I had a mishap with a pin. Because I run around the house with nothing on my feet. Big hug alway. ❤❤❤❤😊😊❤❤
