Hi Gayle......I'm new here, but watch you every morning while I am crafting cards. I'm getting ready to open an Etsy shop with my vintage shabby chic cards and have learned so much from you. You are so sweet and so wonderful to watch and my daily fix for crafting. I find that we do a lot of things in common and have many of the same crafting tools. This is a happy day for me to finally join you every day ~ Debi

Hi Ms.Gayle!!! I folded a hanging file folder. It works great. I just have to trim the height of it. I will watch this again tonight so I can cover it with paper. I just bought a pretty card stock pad from Hobby Lobby. Did I need it? NO! Did I want it? YES!!! Yes always wins!!! Have a great rest of the evening Ms.Gayle!!! Big hugs!!! ~Liz~

This may be one of my all time favorite ideas! I think I may be able to do this! You are so amazing and do such a great job!!! This was just so lovely. May I ask, what would a fair price be for these be? By the time I get to your Etsy site your items are sold, but I was thinking I might like to duplicate this. I made your floral book a couple times and gave them as gift, they were a hit! Thanks for all your help and time. ❤️
@gayleagostinelli_ct5 жыл бұрын
Hi Tami! Pricing is always a tough one. There are just so many factors that go into it. These might be a little higher because the paper I use was pretty expensive. I’d likely go $35 or $37.50 plus shipping on these. ❤️

Chelle~ I totally understand your struggle. I am cracking up right now after reading your comment!!! Hahaha! I am right there with you saying "Oh-yeah I NEED more paper to choose from." with stacks and stacks of paper and embellishments staring back at me saying "what about me???" LOL
@theramblincrafter5 жыл бұрын
Lol, YES, mine constantly stare at me 'choose me, choose me' while I'm searching on Etsy for my next set, sigh! LOL. I mean what do you do with all the paper? THEN I go to a thrift store and find hundreds of sheets more for $2, sigh...what to do, what to do? I've considered giving some to the thrift store, but my luck, I'd buy it back next time I'm there...bwahahahaha

I think generally the letter size file folders are a uniform size, but maybe not quite! Yep, I’m thinking little ones of these would be fun too! ❤️
@millievega3725 жыл бұрын
Hi Ms Gayle; what should the measurements be for each fold? What area did you fold for the binder? Trying to follow but I became lost quickly. This will be my first folder or album. Millie
@gayleagostinelli_ct5 жыл бұрын
Fold your file folder in half on each side meeting close the the middle original fold of the file folder, making sure it will close as shown. I didn’t do measurements, because it could be any size. The file folder is smaller than the cover I worked on. Just make sure the “cover” , the portion on the far left, will fit over your other folds. I’m sorry you were lost. Maybe I didn’t explain it well. But really it’s just making three folds and spacing them so that the piece will fold and fit into itself properly. I hope that helps! ❤️
