I made this along with you. I got to use my book binding kit I brought several months ago I used Stemperia Lilac Flowers for the paper. Its funny because I got this paper in the mail yesterday and I found a file folder and just went with it. I think it turned out very pretty. I've watched your videos for over a year and this is the 1st thing I have made from one of your videos. I enjoy listening to you and I have bought supplies from etsy as a result. Thanks

Thanks to you and this project, I made a half-as-big tri-fold birthday card with the lst sheet of the Happy Accident pack for my friend's birthday today - a big pink button and hot pink crochet thread wrapping for the closure. With the other half of that sheet, I am making a similar tri-fold card for my mother-in-law's 100th birthday in April. Renea sent a beautiful butterfly ephemera and it will grace the front of the l00th birthday card. The recipients will not get another card like the one I give them, for sure. Thanks for all your tutorials - I figure I am learning by osmosis.

Great video so going to try and make one, will have to do five lol, 😂 one each for my four daughters they really getting into cooking and these be great. I love the way your yours have turned out they are wonderful. I have one little tip for you that might help with the stamp platform, with the magnets wrap a piece of washi tape around them and leave a tail, that helps with picking them up, it does not interfere with the magnet working at all. Thank you for sharing this great video😀

Hi Gayle. I am putting my signatures in today. I used wallpaper samples for my covers. I am going to use this as a bullet travelers journal. I journal daily but when I travel which is frequently I don't like to travel with my larger journal. If I bullet things I don't forget the highlights and can go back to my main journal and write without forgetting anything. Love your ideas. Thank you. 💕

My favorite Finnabair stamp set is Don’t Forget to Fly. Usually when my videos are fuzzy, it’s my internet. Sometimes I have to turn everything off & re-start KZbin to help with the buffering. Loving the series Gayle. If I wanted to send you some happy mail, how do I contact you to do that? Do you have a P.O. Box you publish or should I contact you on Etsy? I find that with the Archival Ink pad, you need to have a finger pressing in the middle of the back of the ink pad. It helps to distribute the ink faster. Just a quick tip. 💜💜😁

Hey Gayle, I just wanted to mention that one way to add a hinge is too cut your paper 1/2" longer than you need. Then just score it at 1/2" and fold. Then you can glue the hinge to the top of your page. Does this make any sense?? Hope so. Stay warm!

Gayle, I so enjoy your videos! I laugh and talk back to you as you do your thing. I really have enjoyed your cute new folder project. Can I suggest that you use a screw punch instead of an awl? I have shoulder issues too, and a screw punch can make things a lot easier because it offers a bit of a mechanical edge. I ended up having a device implanted into my spine to help with pain management, and it's been fantastic ... until I do something stupid and then my shoulder really decides to speak up and scold me. p.s. A little dna on a project is a gift from the artist, not a mistake!
@tanjarains33945 жыл бұрын
Gayle, when I do TNs, I have a book that I use to punch into, too, but I open it to the middle and I just lay the TN in the middle, with the spine in between where the pages meet in the middle. (I hope that makes sense!) It seems to be easier to punch the holes that way because the book holds the TN up. That might be easier on your shoulder. I love how this has turned out! It’s beautiful!
@pamburke86145 жыл бұрын
Wow! What a good idea! I was discouraged because one of my first ones recently, the holes on the outside of the spine were crooked. I'll try this! Thanks!
