I fucking love Insomniac. For me it’s top three, with Dookie being #1 and the third being either Kerplunk or Nimrod depending on how I’m feeling. No particular order for any of them after Dookie tbh. Old Green Day slaps Semi related, I used to consider American Idiot “new Green Day” but now I believe Warning through the Trilogy are like “middle Green Day.” UNO’s kinda the last album I enjoyed by them tbh

You obviously have to alternate pick (more like strum) and use three finger power chords which helped me in the long run compared to two finger power chords

@@dok599Slow down your speed of playing, and then increase it gradually. Use a metronome for that, it will help a lot. The original BPM for American Idiot is around 186, you can decrease it by half (93, or even slower if you may need) for your fist try, and when you feel comfortable with that BPM, go for a higher one.

One time I played Brain stew on a 7 string what was so cool about that is that I didn’t have to tune down at all, and it was so easy to rearrange the riff because of it’s simplicity

It's jaguar. You can tell by the metal part on the pickguard (not on the Jazzmaster) and Jazzmasters usually have 'soapbar' pickups
