We usually go there every Christmas!! The lights are beautiful. However we dont stay there, its too expensive. But neat thing is you can park in oprymills parking lot and walk over to hotel and you dont have to pay parking fee. The hotel is always beautiful. We were just there couple days ago. But be prepared it was busy. The mall was busy, and we ate at Paula Deens, if we hadnt of got there half hr after opening, we would have had to wait quite awhile. And love this video.

That is one of the police boxes, they have cameras monitoring the area.

@@NerdsOnTheGo Oh that's great. Much safer that way. I will feel good about going there and parking in that lot that is free. Kind of like a campus 911 box. I have enough family members that can carry the luggage from the free lot all the way to the hotel so your tips are really going to help us. I saw where it's now $33.00 per day (at least currently) So that will save us $99.00 Thanks!

I agree 100% on being safe, glad we could help save a little bit of money. You can always drop your family off at the lobby/check in area then run your car over. Hope you have an awesome trip!!

Is all that other space and other buildings where Opryland used to be? We used to go there every summer. But it was a huge shame when they closed that park. What a horrible thing. And such a waste of a wonderful park!

Towards the end of the video when you see Opry Mills Mall that's where Opryland would have been, it is very sad that they closed it to make another mall. We wish we still had Opryland, lots of great memories. Dollywood is not too far from Nashville, it reminds us of Opryland.

@@NerdsOnTheGo it’s definitely a shame. But it’s an even bigger shame how they got rid of Ralph Emery and ruined TNN! Ralph and ‘Nashville Now’ are the reasons I went into television.

He was not there, they do have piano or different things but I don't think I have seen the harp player before.
