Asking who i find sexy when i was younger... honestly i don't know. I am ace and no one ever kind of hit that, but i always admired demonstrations of good body control, slow smooth movements etc. Where i did Karate we had a girl who was a former dancer and there was a fierce beauty and power in her katas

My brother did karate growing up. I could always tell which were a bit more graceful in their execution too. The test days ( I’m not sure what they were actually called) were always fun to watch. Body control definitely weaves through so many disciplines.

My biggest struggle with dancing sexy is I start to think too much and you can see it on my face I want to work on relaxing my face and feel more natural

I still do that sometimes! I think it mostly becomes more relaxed when I really know the music and the musicality that the choreographer is playing off of. When I freestyle it’s more natural. Definitely something that will come more naturally over time. 🤗

Great tips and the topic is so helpful since feminine dance forms are increasingly popular. although the PG reference wasn’t great for me. Her female dancers and male dancers are so phenotypically different and it’s strange to me.

Hmm that’s an interesting observation. I could see how someone could feel that way if they aren’t used to seeing Polynesian or Māori people. I think their uniqueness definitely adds to how attractive they are as they perform. Glad you enjoyed the video 🤗

@@GaylynLareese the guys aren’t Polynesian or Māori. There is a mixture and there are Black men. The women dancers seem to lack this same type of diversity. Like even Rihanna if she was just a dancer probably wouldn’t be chosen as one of PG dancers.

What if you cannot wear stilettos because literally your foot and your calves won't allow you it's just the way that I was built high arch wide foot narrow heel and there is nothing that I can do I don't think to physically fit into a stiletto

It’s sounds like you’ve kinda talked yourself out of trying stilettos at all. If you are open to giving them a try, make sure you get a pair with laces down the front so that you can adjust the tension. It also sounds like you could benefit from a higher stiletto heel height as well. A low heel will leave too much room for your foot to wobble but a higher one will keep you over the ball of your foot. And be sure to get insoles as well so that your arch and the space around your heel is filled and sufficiently supported. Good luck!

Freestyle is a term that’s been used for decades in the states to describe dance or any kind of art form that is done on the spot without planning. The word improv or improvisation is also used but in different settings and disciplines as well. It’s all dance and all words are welcome here ☺️
