Gaza health director refuses Israeli army’s request during phone call before Shifa hospital raid

In a phone call before Israeli forces raided al-Shifa hospital on Wednesday aired by Al Jazeera, Dr Munir Albursh, the health director of Gaza, refused to cooperate with the Israeli army’s demands to come down in fear of being killed and abandoning his patients.
A doctor from inside the hospital has told Middle East Eye that during the raid the Israeli army turned the hospital, which shelters thousands of Palestinians, into a “war zone”.

What I heard from that was.. They are asking him to help them evacuate the hospital. They said they've surrounded it and is asking for him to come down, so he can help evacute the patients. In a way I felt he was almost begging for them to come and take him away so he would be out of there! They have not felt safe there for years and knew that Hamas was in the basement because they saw the activity of them going down there. Hamas is the ruling party in Gaza...they have military force like Israel that is in war with palestinians for 75 years... they made a military campaign which included some acts against civilians that may be considered as war crime. Israel as a part of this war is now proceeding a counter attack which include even harder war crimes. Hamas is struggling for a territory in which their grandfathers used to live... they realise their operations on this territory. So there is not any terrorist organization here

Doctors and nurses will not leave patients even during COVID-19 pandemic they perform their duties even though Covid-19 has killed more humanity than any Israeli Government could've in their war crimes sprees A medical staff that survived Covid-19 and also survived Gaza bombing by the grace and protection of Allah are exceptional men and women in their profession It will be difficult situation for Israel apartheid regime to dictate unlawful occupation to a Gaza medical staff who are brilliant in intelligence compared to Israeli Government poor quality of leaders is far worst in their bloody history The doctors and nurses should give the children of Gaza the phone to negotiate with IDF since they have more mature and have combat experience at age 15 years old..
