Gaza hunger: Raising starvation awareness using tin cans

The UN says Gaza is on the brink of a famine as Israel continues to restrict entry of food into the be-sieged Strip. Much of the small amount of food entering Gaza comes in tin cans. One Palestinian has decided to send the world a message in an unconventional way.

I eat canned food all the time,there’s nothing wrong with it. They are starving because they don’t like canned food? That’s ridiculous. I saw a video of a guy who got a spaghetti and meat sauce MRE and he just smelled the bag and said oh this doesn’t smell like food and threw it away - seriously? The spaghetti is delicious and it has its own heater. Crazy, this isn’t a time to be super picky eaters

Hasbara bot! Eating healthy, quality food is a human right. So yes they are entitled to the right of eating quality, nutritious food. Why should nutritious food be a luxury, it should be a given. Countries like the U.S who are sending aid to Gaza are extremely wealthy but can’t even spare money to spend on good quality, nutritious food for the Gazans they seem to feel pity about? Gazans especially in the north are starved to death due to the lack of canned food aid. You’re the one who is entitled that you don’t like that Palestinians don’t feel the way you want them to about the aid that isn’t even bought with your money. Palestinians are entitled to nutritious, healthy food not canned food that have been sitting in the shelves for years on end.

The problem with canned food is that it is damaging Gazan’s health due how long the canned food have been sitting at the shelves, with the lack of nutrition children, women and men would get diarrhea and severe stomach, digestive issues.
