I bought one last week, I've put less than 100 miles on it, but I really like it. Coming from a racing bike, the thing weighs 50 pounds, so its not a lightweight. But the Bosch performance system feels a lot more intuitive and seamless it its power delivery compared to cadence sensors. Recommended.

Nice review. I looked at one yesterday in Oceanside; nice bike. Fit and finish was excellent, like the fact that it has the Bosch performance line motor. Will be buying one for my wife this year. Thanks again.

I feel like a lot of Gazelle's initial US offerings were a tad overpriced but now they seem to be going for the value. This looks like a solid bike, the giant white text looks a little cheap but I would put this on my short list.

Theya re a little pricey, but the thoughtfulness of the design is apparent when you ride. My T10+ rides more like a steel road bike than a tank like hybrid.

Great video on the Medeo T10, the best one in my opinion. Still waiting for mine to arrive. I did an upgrade to Kiox so wondering if it will support gear shifting on the display? Also, can the Emtb be configured to replace Sport mode. It would be nice to see a follow up review with an Ivory colored one riding on bigger hills, trails, etc. Thanks again, really appreciate the information :-)

Nice! I believe the Kiox will also include the option for shift recommendations and eMTB mode is possible to configure at the dealer. I would love to do another review, but I'm not sure I will have time. Happy riding!

Hi Chris, nice review. I'm planning on getting my first ebike and up to now I had narrowed it all the way down to the Gazelle Ultimate T10+, mainly due to it's design, build quality, nice components, 500W battery and 28 mph. However, you mentioned at around 0:14 that there's a Medeo T10+. It must be very new as it's not listed on the Gazelle website yet. Medeo also has the MIK rack whereas the Ultimate does not. Do you happen to know the price delta between the Ultimate T10+ and Medeo T10+? Any reason to consider one over the other?
@andrewfyip4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I actually just purchased the Medeo T10+ from Propel. They will be here by late August to mid September. I was considering the Ultimate but they sold out. The price for the Medeo is $3499 so about $500USD cheaper with a few components like the fork being swapped out for a slightly less expensive one (which is fine by me). From what I was told by Propel, they're pretty similar bikes since they both use the same Bosch generation 4 motor, but just a few parts have been swapped out to make the bike a bit more affordable. That's why I opted to get the Medeo T10+ since there wasn't that much of a difference other than it being more affordable and I like the "Mallard Blue" color scheme of the Medeo T10+

It's not listed on KZbin yet but it is on their website: here's a review Chris did of the Medeo T10+ kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIGtiKx9pruFnMk&feature=emb_title

Nice bike, like the design. For the price, seems like it should go faster than 20mph.
@christopherharmon93364 жыл бұрын
Legislation...not software/hardware! 20 mph limit. That's when the e-assist drops out. Maintaining bicycle speeds (say 14-17 mph) I can easily get 45-60 miles on one charge riding my 73 lb Radwagon e-cargo bike. It will be interesting to see what legislators do with Class III. On one hand, I'd like to have the option of riding a Class III on the multi-use paths. On the other hand, I've already run into enough idiots flying around blind corners on "hot-rodded" e-bikes probably pushing 30 mph. The 15% ruin it for everybody. What I don't want to see happen is for all e-bikes to be pushed out into the road with traffic! That defeats the whole purpose!
@MacAutomationTips4 жыл бұрын
@@christopherharmon9336, excellent points. I wasn't aware of the mph limit. I do sometimes ride behind and in front of cars, but only because it's cumbersome sometimes to reach the bike lanes.

A bike with a chain and derailleur is not a commuter bike in my view. The industry needs to change now and end the decades of stagnation. Belts, hub gearing, gearboxes, or just chain cases should have become the norm long ago.
@louiearmstrong4 жыл бұрын
at this price point youd get a 3 speed Nexus hub like a bikesharing bike. Cassettes are way better than a Nexus

NO.
@christill4 жыл бұрын
louiearmstrong I have a 3 speed nexus on my Dutch bike. Works great for riding round town. And that’s not an e-bike. With a CX motor 3 speeds would be more than enough. And actually, the nearest bike share system to me uses I think a 7 speed hub with a shaft drive. Which I think is a brilliant idea for a rental bike. Especially on the coast with our salty sea air. Need more shaft drive e-bikes too.
