Hi Folks, Today’s video is my longest video yet. I covered just over 40km on this trip and summited 4 different Munro summits. I had a lot of fun filming this trip and I hope you enjoy it. The next few videos won’t be as good as this trip including a failed camp too. Gaz

Great video, that was a fair trek despite the weather. The weather's ruined a few of our plans too, but on the other hand, sometimes we've went places despite the forecast and it's ended up being great. We'll done for the effort.😊

@@mechellemulligan Thanks Mechelle. It’s been difficult for me with the Munro’s this year. I don’t mind rubbish weather lower down but on higher ground I prefer to have no wind. Looking forward to the winter months now to be honest and hopefully get a better summer for next year.

Again some lovely scenery, I really like your montages. You may be physically alone doing the hike, but we are with you, watching the journey. One thing that might be good is for you to do a 'map route' of the hike to display as you talk through your route. Or when you are editing, put an arrow on which mountain you are taking about. But hey, the videos are enjoyable to watch and will serve as great memories in many years to come.

Great effort there Gaz. 4 Munros is a decent haul. Unfortunately I never got round to that part of the Cairngorms, and since my accident I'm not confident I ever will, so it's nice to get a well filmed tour of the area. Your video also goes to show how fickle the Scottish weather is. There's little joy in tramping around in the mist, so at least you were able to see where you had been on Day 2. All the best, Jim

Monty has just posted. This is in the Cairngorms and the Cape Wrath is further north I’m sure. This area of Scotland is very dark at night and good for the Aurora. Nearest city from here is probably Perth. ATB Gaz

@@craigy1872 Depends on the gear you have and how compact everything packs down. There is a Talon 55 litre backpack which I also own if you’re unsure. Seen people carry 85 litre backpacks but also seen people get away with 44 litre backpacks doing the WHW too.

@@GazTheExplorer Cheer mate👍🏻 My big 3 are the x mid solid 1 Thermarest xlite nxt regular/wide Alpkit pipedream 400 bag. These pack down really well and don’t weigh too much, so I’m thinking along with all the usual stuff I could get away with 48l. I do like those new Rab muon 40l packs, just not sure if it might be too small.
