Hello Gaz. Sorry I haven't commented on your videos for a while. I work from home in Scotland and find it hard to keep up with the KZbin channels. You're doing great. Best wishes Steve 👍

Nice one Gaz. Much as the morning seemed a bit grim, on camera it looked really good. I'd be over the moon for an inversion like that. :)

An inversion with a sunrise is absolutely perfect but I should be happy with this inversion. Was nice looking over the Beinn a’Ghlo three with the inversion I got though. Enjoy Beluga Lagoon tonight😃 Gutted I could not make this one due to a work night😥 Got Dunoon and Aberdeen to look forward to instead.

Brilliant! Epic views,surreal weather,tough hiking but to make your homes for the night up there im sure it was all worthwhile Gaz. Was a tough weekend by the looks of thing's,fair play to ya's because i know personally when you've not been out on the hills regularly you aren't long in losing your 'mountain leg's' & even a moderate hike onto higher ground can bottom you..top effort,top video as always, thanks for taking us along with you.

Yeah it was a tough weekend away but so far it’s still my favourite of this year. Nice to get some snow and to test the fitness. Happy to say that since this trip I’ve gotten my hill walking fitness back to where it should be for longer hikes. ATB Gaz

Hi everyone, Have to say this is up there as one of my favourite camps I’ve done with Monty. Had a variety of different weather from snow to a beautiful sunrise with snow on the mountains. This area has some of the highest mountains in sight including Ben Nevis and the two Aonachs. Hope you enjoy and I’ll probably see you all again at the start of June.

Nice video. I wonder why you took the Enan and not the Soulo in those conditions? Cause the weight? I have the same tents too (Soulo, Nallo 2, Akto) but always I take the Nallo 2 because it is more roomy for the winter.
@GazTheExplorerАй бұрын
It’s a combination of the distance I walked and the weight saved taking the Enan. Worked out okay for this trip but I did use this tent for another camp that same weekend with Monty and did say I wished I had another tent. This trip was filmed around the end of April so plenty of daylight thankfully. ATB Gaz

I don't think I could sit in the cold snow for an hour to see an aurora, but this is perhaps why there are those who check that off the bucket list and those who don't. Best video in a long time, enjoyed it.
@GazTheExplorerАй бұрын
Trust me it takes a lot of effort to get out the sleeping bag when the tent is frozen solid. Only the Aurora was going to get me out at 1am. Felt lucky to see it for the limited time I did see it and I hope when the dark nights come back I will start chasing the Aurora properly camping on summits. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for your comment, ATB Gaz

Thanks Stevie, when I looked out for the Aurora it was 1am that night. Unfortunately I must of missed it when it was at its strongest. It’s honestly a great round of Munros and one route you would definitely enjoy walking with your dogs. I would recommend dropping off Creag Pitridh and camping where I went at about 750 metres roughly. Laggan is an underrated area in Scotland in my opinion.. much better than people make out. ATB Gaz
