He manages to translate his emotions into his music so well & then it reaches through the screen to the listener. He is so amazing. I love this song. Thank you for yet another fab reaction. I saw an interview with Dimash where he said if you cut his brain open you would find music & if you cut his heart open you would find music & I feel you are the same. I love to see your reaction to his music 🎶 Thank you.

Incredible really, the areas of human life that Dimash explores with his masterful art! Interesting switch from Dimash being Centre of attention on stage, to being very ordinary looking, in everyman clothing, to those in the audience somehow highlighted, spotlighted. Also what seems to be Kazakh leaders, heroes, prominent people who have passed away, denoted by being in the galleries, with glowing heads.. Then back from an aging Dimash through the eyes back through the ages to children and baby at the end.. Somehow chilling, very emotional. Just his face sometimes tells a deep story. What an artist he is, with amazing collaborators! He is the gift that keeps on giving.. Greetings from Cape Town

Very much liked your reaction to this beautiful, haunting and thought-provoking mv! Dimash first sang this at his digital concert in January - where imho it was the most striking song - and we’ve been waiting impatiently for another performance ever since!

"Omir Oter" from an ode to life. Ode to the life of anyone who has at least once thought about the meaning of their existence. In a solemnly empty theater hall, people occasionally appear as a symbol that people enter this life and leave it alone. Dimash is a hero who glorifies life that passes by itself; the past and the future. The people's legendary past is remembered in the revived historical figures, showing people of different ages, genders. They are legendary personalities who are long dead but have left behind a great invaluable legacy for the young people of modern Kazakhstan. The figure of an old man, whose face is not immediately visible, walks through this empty hall, nostalgia read in his every move, as if he had already been here once. So we understand that this mature wise man with life experience "the old man" and a young man full of energy, dreams and aspirations are one and the same Dimash in the auditorium who looks at himself and his whole life runs before his eyes. This moment reflects the artist's quote that one day he will sit in the auditorium as a mere spectator, and he should not be ashamed of the path of life taken. The atmosphere of the theater starts to come to life, and more people emerge. At the same time, the Artist himself goes to his audience here and now. And this path does not end... Authored by the famous Kazakh poet "Talant Aryngali"

Thanks for another great reaction. The composer, Renat Gaisin, calls “Omir Oter” an ode to life. It’s an ode to life of any person who at least once thought about the meaning of their existence. The video was made at the request of Khabar Agency. As a result, the idea to make a gift to Dimash fans in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan has become real. The story of creation and the message of “Omir Oter” video was revealed by its director Anna Oboyanskaya. From the first seconds, a viewer sees a large solemn theater hall. It is empty and only rarely people of different age and sex appear in it as a symbol of the fact that man enters this life and leaves it alone. What unites all the people in the hall is “Him”, the image of a man who is timeless. Dimash is a hero who celebrates life and lets the past and future of an entire nation pass through him. The future in this case is behind him in the form of a futuristic shining portal. Throughout the video, Dimash revolves between the ascetic, minimalistic black and white portal (the unknown future) and the colorful hall (the bright present and the rich past). The nation’s legendary past is brought to life by prominent historical figures. They are just as inspired as the generation of their coevals to listen to their descendant standing on the stage in front of them. “The video symbolically shows people of different eras, ages, genders, classes. These are both legendary personalities, who are long gone, but they left behind a great legacy, and simple young residents of modern Kazakhstan, who have yet to go their way and reach new heights,” Anna Oboyanskaya says. The turning point of the video is an old man whose face is not immediately visible. He walks through the empty hall, his every movement reads nostalgia, as if he was here once. At the key moment, the viewer realizes that this is Dimash, but in old age. A grown-up man with a lifetime of experience and a young man full of energy and aspirations are one and the same. The old man in the audience looks at his young self on stage, and his whole life flashes before his eyes. This moment epitomizes the artist’s quote that one day he will also sit in the audience as a mere spectator, and he should not be ashamed of his life’s journey. The final frame of the video brings the audience back to the atmosphere of the theatrical hall, which begins to come to life, and more and more people appear in it. At the same time, the Artist himself is walking to his audience here and now. And this journey does not end…

I don't know why but this song made me cry, comes direct of Dimash's love for his ancestors. Dimash is too special, I think his voice even helped me overcome my illness. I listen to it in my chemotherapy sessions, I have just been 35 years old and this song reached me a lot, life is short, for me it is clear, but listening to it has really helped me to overcome so many difficult moments.

Thanks a lot for your reaction, I really love how you speak about Dimash, how you feel his songs, beyond his vocal ability and his amazing voice, how you like his performances, with respect, admiration and love. For me, this song is one of the deepest of his repertoire: the lyrics, the image, and the music are so powerful, immersing me in a world full of reflexion and of emotions. And this is, for me, his most incredible talent... An immense, immense artist.

As usual, I just loved your reaction to this song. Reflective...yes, beautifully said. That is exactly what I feel when I hear this song. Dimash makes me feel emotions that no one else ever has, in so many different ways. How do you not fall madly in love with him? And just to clarify, I don't mean in a sexual way. It's strange but for me, Dimash is too pure. He's such a spiritual, humble, giving, emotional person that he seems too pure for that simple emotion. I am madly in love because of the goodness that he generates in people, in their hearts, in their soul because he emits it, himself, in every single thing that he does, in everything that he touches. It's almost angelic, heavenly, like he was sent here to generate good in people. Yes, I am in love with him for simply that reason.

This song is very deep, when Kazakh people hear it, tears are just flowing and heart hurts. How much our ancestors hardship passed for us to be there, we were almost genocided in 1932-1933, because 50%-70% of Kazakh died. This is Abylai Khan (Kazakh: Абылай (Әбілмансұр) хан, Abylaı (Ábilmansur) han) (May 23, 1711 - May 23, 1781) was a Kazakh khan of the Middle jüz of Kazakh Khanate, he fought many enemies to keep our country and people there. Young girl is Aliya Nurmuhametqyzy Moldagulova (Russian: Алия Нурмухамбетовна Молдагулова, Kazakh: Әлия Нұрмұхамедқызы Молдағұлова/Älia Nūrmūhamedqyzy Moldağūlova; 25 October 1925 - 14 January 1944) was a female Soviet Sniper during World War II. After dying of wounds sustained in battle on 14 January 1944, she was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for her actions in battle. She was only 18 years old. Three men are Leaders of the "Alash" party - Akhmet Baitursynov, Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Myrzhakyp Dulatov. Alash was a political party and liberation movement in the Alash Autonomy on the territory of present-day Kazakhstan and Russia. They advocated for equal treatment between Kazakhs and Russians and the cessation of Russian settlement on the Kazakh lands. I would like to add on behalf of kazakh people, our history was eradicated and stolen, but we will stand strong and fight for our history to be revealed worldwide. You are one of my favorite reactor. Thank you and piece ✌🇰🇿

I am Greek. WW II is still such a vivid part of our history and as a European , so is USSR and it's role. I admit that the names you mention mean nothing to me and they will be so hard to remember, however the amazing power of Dimash's work is this: even when one does not speak a language or has no backstory knowledge , he ALWAYS takes you on a journey! It was so clear what he was saying , even though I didn't know who these people were...but still I KNEW! Does it makes sense to you? His voice and the way he transforms , never fails to tell a story worth listening to. Lovely, emotional reaction as always too!
