So... Dimash... where to begin. This performance of Adagio is a fan favourite but it's a long way from the quality of his current output (this was 2017 and he... er... got better since then). He sings in many genres from opera to rap so there's something for every taste. A lot of people, from fans to professionals, consider him to be the best living vocalist (some say best vocalist ever) but you should make your own mind up about that. It'll take 4 to 5 performances for you to really get the idea of what he's capable of -- after that, he'll still continue to shock you but at least you'll be somewhat ready for it. I envy you... enjoy the ride ahead. 👍

I completely agree with you. It's hard to understand how he could get better but he did, I started with SOS and I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I binge watched everything I could find after that.

👉 For non-musicians: The language of music is Italian. Adagio is an Italian word and is used in music to denote tempo, meaning: 'calm', 'slow'. The interpretation of the song by Dimash is great. He touches my heart and soul ... every time. In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese in this show. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after his first song "SOS d'un terrien en détresse " Dimash captured the hearts of millions of viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door. "Adagio" was the 6. song in the competition. The competition consisted of 14 rounds, over 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people see this tv-program, that's generated international interest. The performances were uploaded to KZbin... and so, we became Dimash’s Dears. The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition and go home again. They didn't really believe in him. But Dimash came, sang and stayed... for the next 3 years in China... but he only finished second in the competition because he's not Chinese (conditions have changed: The next year, Jessie J. won). 👉 This song belongs in Lara Fabian's repertoire, a world-famous singer and songwriter. She wrote the lyrics many years ago to this classical baroque melody that cannot be assigned to any particular artist with certainty. Today it is one of the most popular works of “classical music”. The composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian arranged the piece into a pop song. You should definitely react to Lara Fabian. Then you understand why she is a great role model for Dimash. Good for you!!! You just discovered the greatest singer in the whole wide world. Many of us have been following him daily for years, myself close to 5 years now a mega-fan of DIMASH. I found DIMASH doing covers of two songs that had been long time favorites of mine SOS and Love is like a Dream, first French song, second Russian song. His covers were better than the originals and that blew me away. Obsessed with his music and voice and all his other talents to the inth degree now.

I'm guessing from the accent you are a UK reactor? I'm UK too and the expression on your face was the same as mine when I first heard Dimash just a few short months ago. This is about 5% of what he can do as I believe he was still recovering from a serious throat infection. This was also 2017 and you have no idea how much better he's got since then. He's held massive concerts all across the globe since with the biggest one being a sold out concert of 150,000 people. He has become a global superstar and the only reason he hasn't been heard of in the west is because he refuses to sign to a record company and we all know that the record companies decide what is played on the radio. You can stream his music through Spotify and Amazon and he is currently in 4th place on the American Billboard Charts at the moment. With a full 7 octave range and 20 years plus of vocal training he can sing whatever he wants, he's also multi lingual, plays 7 instruments and composes music too. Would love to see you do one that shows exactly what he can do like Your Love, SOS 2021 or Passione. Btw, he also does rock, RnB, EDM and he raps too.

Dimash has never given a concert for 150,000 people. If you mean the Gaku Festival - it wasn't his solo concert, he was one of the performers there. I think his biggest concert had an audience of 30,000-40,000. But he deserves millions. For me he is the best vocalist on this planet.

@@Chabtung Yes, there were 150 000 people in this festival in 2017. Dimash was the star guest of the night and performed last, singing several songs. I guess he was really the attraction since a year before there were much less viewers (80000 -90000 if I remember right). I agree that he deserves everything!

Yes! The 1st time I heard Dimash the 1st thing I thought was that he could do ALL the parts of Phantom of the Opera more exquisitely than ever before.. Please believe me when I tell you you can see 20 more Dimash performances & be blown away every time. He was only 22 here! From the same Singer competition as this performance u must see what started it all- SOS. Or SOS Slavic Bazaar 2018… Also All By Myself, The Show Must Go On, Hello, Confessa + Diva Dance.. Or u may want to skip to his newest releases to see how he’s grown- he premiered Stranger, Fly Away, & Ave Maria (an original composition), in that order a couple months ago. All wildly different from one another & anything else he’s done before. His range of vocals, styles, & all else is incomparable. He is literally the best singer in the world & I absolutely loved your reaction.. I hope hope u go down this rabbit hole! His fans will watch any Dimash content u put out! I also think you will particularly like Olimpico- get the version from his concert, search on Igor Krutoy’s channel (the composer). It’s EPIC.

Welcome to Dimash. Tip of the iceberg. He does so many different genres and sings in so many languages. This was in 2017. You should see what he does now. One of his best is Sinful Passion from 2018. It will be in Russian but has subtitles. For brand new... do Stranger but you may have to still shot it to avoid copyright. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. Dimash is one of the best, if not the best, singers on the planet today. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was later found to have perfect pitch. Dimash has been on stage since childhood: he sang and played the piano at various venues and competitions throughout his childhood. The young artist was not only a bright performer of famous hits, but also the author of his own songs. He had written seven songs by the age of 24. His genres include rap, pop, rock, classic, Opera, traditional Kazakh folk and ballad. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, as well as contemporary music, pop and jazz. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He is currently working on his PhD in musical composition. His 7 octave range (C2-D8 whistle tone) and 10 semitones is beyond comparison. His vocals range from a rich low bass/baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has sung a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. He is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of range you have but in fact how you use it to move people. On top of all this, he embodies every song he sings and always gives 100% for his audience. He's a genius at mixing genres in a song, a style he himself refers to himself as neo-classic. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. Dimash has performed songs in 12 different languages: his native language Kazakh, as well as Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Ukrainian, Italian, Kyrgyz, Turkish, Serbian, German, and Spanish. He speaks Kazakh and Russian, and studies English and Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in I Am a Singer, a Chinese competition show for professional singers. He ultimately placed second because at the time the rules of the show disallowed anyone who wasn't Chinese to take first place. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. Igor has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well. He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. There are several full concerts available to watch online. His concerts are usually around 2 ½ hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music. Although he works with producers and promoters in other countries his music is produced and distributed through his own company called Dimashali Creative Center. Dimash plays seven instruments: piano, drums, guitar, keyboard, dombra (the most popular Kazakh instrument, like a lute), marimba (like a xylophone), and bayan (which is like an accordion). On May 24th, 2021 he celebrated his 27th birthday. He is most widely known through his live performances and has released several albums, the first one going platinum in 37 seconds in China and triple platinum in less than an hour. It has been widely recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular. He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has named his "Dears" He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble, and possesses a wonderful sometimes self-deprecating sense of humor. He is often dismissive of his amazing talent and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history.

I can’t believe I just found you tonight four day after you posted this. A few minutes ago I google him for the top 100 songs on the billboard charts. His song Fly Away is number 20. Adagio isb4 years old. He hit MTV’s Friday night livestream about 8 or 9 months ago with three of his songs number one and fighting for first place for several months. I had to write you instantly after I heard your metal sound on your channel a few years back the teen movie Go Go power Rangers came out. Dimash did the heavy metal track for the movie soundtrack with the song the same name as the movie. This song on the billboards is not even near his best work. He did that song and two more at the young artist singing competition new wave in Sochi Russia. He won it years ago and has been called back to sing every year. This year he was called back to judge. The songs he did he collabed with his billionaire mento composer and producer were: Ave Maria, Fly Away, and Stranger which covered at least 5 octaves itnpmight have been 6 because I don’t know music enough to say for sure. Dimash has between 7 and 8 octaves we don’t know for sure but the Dears and the voca coaches say e sings in every register on the piano. He hit a D8 in a concert in Gakku which is one note higher than the piano. There’s so much live music videos on his channel. I wouldn’t tell you what to react to but he is a bomb waiting to go off in the USA. You don’t ask which genre he sings. Other singing ears are one dimensional Dimash has no boundary or limits to his voivce and he’s a free agent. Has no producer. There’s so much more to him. I’m going to comment again on your next songs I liked and subscribe to you channel. His songs are in our mediums but he’s not even here yet. He’s in his doctorate with two masters in classical and contemporary music.

Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve languages. I just call him the goat. Dimash does rap, rock, classical, opera and folk, but no matter the genre it’s always impressive. His control, tone and training will blow your mind often. Dimash never do the SIMPLE covers of the songs. He changed them and create a new unic versions. All songs performed by him carry a complex and deep meaning and often turn into a Hymn. Even such a famous composition as Adagio Dimash started from the classical original - he himself performed "Adagio in G minor for strings and organ based on two fragments of the theme and digital bass Tomaso Albinoni(1720), Remo Giazzotto, 1945" - the full title of this classical musical piece. And only then he sang a modern cover with obvious oriental notes. As a result, the song performed by him has changed beyond recognition for the better.

Seeing as were both geordies I’ve subscribed to you. Dimash will never disappoint you, ever. You will soon be one of us dears and be obsessed and shocked with him, every time. There are so many fantastic performances from Dimash. He doesn’t ever just sing a song, he is in the song and pulls you in too, the passion and emotion is 2nd to none. He sings in 12 languages but I don’t actually care if I know what words he’s singing, I love his many many voices, every one of them so I don’t care which language he’s speaking. He also sings in genres from rap to opera so you’ll always find songs to love. Dimash has sung Hello but the Lionel Richie song. You won’t believe it. In Sinful Passion he holds the last note for 23 seconds with no breath. Dimash will surprise you every time. Dimash was born May 24 1994 and he is 6”3.Thank you for your reaction and stay safe. I subscribed

Dimash enrolled in music college at 5 yrs old. His vocal cords have received intense training for 20 yrs. He holds master's degrees in many different types of music. He is considered to be the best vocalist in the world and a master performaner. He sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. He is an exceptional singer and excels in martial arts. His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known singer. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. He appears in front of crowds of hundreds of thousands of people and is known to give the proceeds to charity. He is a very humble and shy man. He stands at 6 ft. 3 1/2" tall and weighs 200 pounds.
