Hi Dana, watching your last couple of videos, I realized how much, I really really needed, a grit blaster. So while casualty browsing in the tool shop today, a blaster accidentally fell onto my trolley, along with a bag of glass grit. "Glass is better for the environment" they said, So I felt much better, now that I am saving the Planet. My Grit blaster is red so it will go faster and it will be easier to find in the wilderness, I call my work shop. I always learn some thing new, from your videos, you are a great motivator and you all ways achieve a high standard, in every project, you do. I love to watch the bike shows you go to, and enjoy the classic bikes on display, being a 79 Yam XS 1100 owner my self. Your partner is good on the camera, please pass that, on to him. I have watched many videos of bike shows and mostly the camera person sucked for various reasons. Keep up the good work. All the best, Colin, in Hamilton, New Zealand

I have been using glass recently and I would recommend wearing a respirator no matter how good your extraction system filtration is on your blast tank. I saw another KZbinr recently using the same SGS tank without any extraction and complaining about how he couldn't breathe. If you'd like to see how scary it is, watch Bikes Of Rye.

Can I ask what paint you used on the calipers? I’m assuming it was brake fluid on your gloves but it didn’t seem to affect the paint. I need to refurb mine on my 350LC
@bikerstuff2
@bikerstuff2 3 ай бұрын
I used simoniz vht black as an undercoat then finished with trailer made tailored paint satin black ht paint. I cleaned the callipers with black cleaner afterwards to prevent any long term degradation of the paint from the brake fluid
