The last set I made up were for my 2 liter. Just by chance I found that my 22 caliber gun cleaning kit patches worked nice for swabbing out the rod. Your way looks faster and just as good. As always. Thank you

that thing is great you can reface lifter on that side , there is a stone that does a great job i use them my $650 motors and I've never got one back

I have to do the same thing, I damaged two pushrods, have two that are longer but I'll have to get the ends out. On my mine there is a ball end and a receiver end. I have a couple of choice as to which one I use, I could use the one that the ball is removable or the remove the cup from the one that ball is part of the rod. How do you get the pieces out? I have access to heat, lathe, valve grinder etc. I haven't attempted to remove the ends of either of my two options. I'm actually doing it right now and hoped that question had already been asked and answered but I don't see it. Thanks. Wayne

Thanks Darrin 👍 When setting the geometry, do you just measure 1/2 lift and make sure the rocker tip/shaft centre to valve are 90 degrees? Cheers

hi darrin nice work but how do you measure the total length of the pushing rod? just 0.15mm //0.06 inch under the rockerarm? im building a type 4 engine end i used steel shims under the barrels to lower the compression! but now my stock pushing rods are to small! thanks Joris de Vet // the netherlands

Darrin, I'm putting dual carbs on my stock 1600 dual port and I'd also like to install a set of Pauter 1.3 or 1.4 rockers that I've had for a number of years. Will installing the Pauter rockers change the length of the pushrod tubes?

it's is 4130 heat treated that machine has coolant and the part never gets very hot at all
