The points are for technicality(how difficult the setup is), the Robin and Sxin round was very complex, most of the loopers can't copy them. Then musicality is there like Sxin had a song cover, soso would get a minus in it. But at the end there is a category for uniqueness, which Robin and soso would have had points for. Some use 1 device some 2 it all depends brothers

Fairly sure they the ranking like they do solo wildcards; judges have a list of criteria they score a value from X to Y, then that determines your overall score. Which in turn determines if you get in and where you rank. Now... These criteria are usually debated a lot and people have a lot of different takes on how these things should be judged, so... It's not unusual for there to be "what??" moments. Maybe particularly for the majority of us who maybe don't listen to it with that judge's ear or even have the basis to judge on technical aspects and what have you. But in the end the judges were chosen for a reason, they work with the system they have to work with, and it's bound to have subjectivity because even with the criteria point system it's still judging art. So while one may disagree, one has to respect the judges decisions. Disclaimer: I could be 100% wrong about all of this.
