It’s somewhat surreal watching what was a micro compact pistol be turned into a standard compact pistol (albeit skinnier) because the larger compact is easier and more pleasant to shoot. We’re essentially going back to what was the industry standard size of 4” barrel 5” tall. Almost like that standard was the result of decades of firearm usage.

Look at cell phones, how we went smaller and smaller until we got a screen on the front we interact with and then they got bigger and bigger and now I own a galaxy Z-fold. It happens with everything tbh, the original 365 is too small for me, but the XL is just right for me to edc.

@@JD-tn5lzI suppose that’s true, but if we are talking about a 9mm carry pistol, there sure seems to be some product line overlap as the 365 grows larger, with the 320 having very few advantages that I can see. Again, talking 9mm carry.

Been carrying a G19 for a decade, recently went over to a shadow systems MR920. I chose that size of carry because it's what was recommended from people who had been in real situations. I dabbled with smaller carry guns but always came back to G19, kinda funny to see the trend coming back to 4" 15rd 9mms lol. I think the p365 series has been vetted over the years, I wouldn't mind a 365xl size or similar.

My sister and brother in law asked if I could break-in their m18 and p320c. Between the two I experienced 5 failures in the first 200rds with 4 on the p320c. 3 failure to feeds and 2 failure to extracts. I use Winchester 124g NATO and 115g cci blazer. You're a perfect example of how YT and Forums give trash information. Dude, Sig is a business, a very aggressively run business. The 365 is what people are looking for, so that's what Sig is using capacity for. Not only are there years of military contracts to fill, there are still LE contracts being offered and sold. So, just because you can't even afford Sig doesn't mean that everything bad about them is remotely true. By the way, few sidearms are truly drop-safe, Sig has deep pockets and a big name, so hence, they get sued alot and it gets into the news. Gunmakers get sued by PDs constantly.

Total misinformation. The Sig P320 keeps growing in production and sales, with a vast selection of models to offer. Hahaha. Garbage? Compared to what and why? Because it's not "drop-safe"? Wow. News from this LE instructor and armorer, very few sidearms are and you don't want the one that truly is. Some makers (ahem, Tisas, Girsan, Canik) don't even address the issue because they aren't and they don't get military/LE contracts and others address the issue by issuing recalls (Walther, S&W, Sig) after failing genuine testing. Is Sig great? Nope, not my first choice, but they aren't junk and they are correctly priced for their market. And don't worry, I'm pretty sure no one will ever pay YOU a nickel to carry ANY gun.
