I’d love to see you create your own designs and add your personal twist to them! You could also use a bit of poster putty to keep the items in place so they don’t move around. I love the idea of the dust proof doors. And the way the sets connect is really cool. Thanks for sharing these sets!

People (or at least Americans) call it 'Coke' because it is the first big brand that made it popular. Other examples are Band-aid instead of adhesive bandage, Kleenex instead of face tissue, Tylenol instead of acetaminophen, and etc etc. I use the terms coke and soda mostly. 👍

GB that’s what I do-I change them to how I want..different walls, colors, photos. It makes them more unique ….you should look into Rement sets. Quite expensive but they’re my favorite to collect.

I wish they had a miniature set like this, but instead inspired by Burger Chef restaurants from the 1960s-1980s. Those were unique & way less expensive! Goodness, this fictional RoLife Burger has ridiculously high prices! Burger Chef invented the concept of the Happy Meal, years before McDonald's! Most unique amongst all fast food places, Burger Chef had an unlimited salad bar (Works Bar) that was free with the purchase of your burger or fish dinner meal. For example, you would pay for your Triple Treat meal consisting of burger, milkshake or soft drink & fries, and you could grab a bowl & eat as much salad from the "Works Bar" as you wanted & add extra pickles & lettuce or tomato to your burger, etc.

think it has the "nickname" coke is that it actually had that in it back in the day. Here in Swe we usually call that "Cola", the group of "pop/fizzy drinks" are called "läsk" or "kolsyrad dryck" ie "carbonated drink". Stay golden GB.

The nickname came about in the 1940s, long after the coca leaves were removed from the product (cocaine was never actually in coca-cola). Coca-Cola themselves shortened it to "coke" in a rebranding attempt, though it is derived from the "coca" portion of the name, denoting the leaves that were once in the product.

My Grandfather worked for Coke for many years as a manager here in Ohio. He had a small coke bottle in the back of the refrigerator that he told us kids to leave alone. I asked why and he told me it was some of the original recipe and therefore had cocaine in it! Hence the name Coke.

"Coke" is just a corporate branding technique similarly to how Coca-Cola also gave us the modern version of Santa. The nickname pays homage to one of the 2 items originally used to make the product coca leaves (the other being the kola bean).

I think he's specifically not understanding the people in the south/Carolinas who refer to to all varieties of soda as "coke" i.e. they may be asking for a sprite/Dr. Pepper/etc and say "can I get a coke?" When "coke" is just the word soda.

Just started to watch your. I put together 2 those sets and was impressed with them. But I'm not exactly sure what scale they are compared some action figure. Right now have a couple of Star 3 inch Star Wars figures with them. The food items included in the set seem made for 1/6 or 1/12th figures. I wish the sets would say what scale it is plastic model kits.

you could try using blu tack to stick stuff down on your miniatures. i don't like permanently sticking things down either, so i use blu tack to keep things from sliding but not have the placement permanent

It didn't have "a drug." They used the coca leaves after cocaine was processed out of them for the drinks. The story of cocaine in coke came from the Jim Crow south where the white folks out here were blaming Coca-Cola for "Black hostility" because "the drink had drugs in it." In reality, if it had any at all, it was trace amounts. "Coke" was rebranded as such by corporate almost 50 years after coca leaves stopped being used in the beverage. It is in reference to the leaves that were once used and not the overblown racist story about cocaine in the drink.
